Love it

Dry opening, settles really nicely. Masculine. Bold, but comforting. Classy, but not overly mature. Smoky, resinous, woody, but not overwhelming. On the flipside of that, I wish it lasted longer. For how bold the notes are, I wish it performed better. Even so, this is really nice, and I might actually buy a whole bottle when they go on sale next year. I've tried a bunch of the city exclusives and this is probably my favorite.

Comfort on a cold day

Every time I spray this I'm transported, walking down the street in an unfamiliar ancient city in the dead of winter. I can see my breath in front of my face and bury my face in a thick wool scarf. I'm my hands I have a steaming cup of a dark black tea, thick and sweet with honey. Passing by a local Orthodox Church, wisps of frankincense cut through the biting air, oddly inviting.
