Neroli beam!

Probably one of your best candidates for affordable neroli and orange blossom scent out there I haven't been able to find one this good in this price range where it really gives you that hit of neroli and orange blossom that you crave, it works well enough for body spray and work well on its own but also great for layering too!

I bought this in the winter already liking it but as its becoming a bit warmer and sunnier I think it just seems to become even better. It is my most complimented fragrance and lasts absolutely all day on me. It smells juicy in the best way, not sure how else to describe it. You can really smell orange blossom in this, its just great.

Fresh as Sea Salt Shampoo

Inspired by Lush's sea salt shampoo, this body spray comes across as fresh with sweet accords. Neroli and mandarin are very dominant, but vanilla is only subtly detectable (strongly diluted). A fresh unisex fragrance that is unique. The scent is instantly recognizable.

For me, it's versatile. Suitable for both genders, any season, any occasion. It works particularly well on warm sunny days or during indoor or outdoor activities. Unfortunately, the longevity is not great, maxing out at 3 hours. Probably because the vanilla is so minimal. The sillage also fades quickly. Nevertheless, the price/performance ratio is okay for 200ml. One of the best body sprays from Lush.

Linen Cloth in Fresh Sea Breeze

Years ago, I received a pot of the "Big" shampoo from the Lush store as a gift. The scent blew me away back then. Alongside the freshness of sea salt, I was greeted by this incredibly seductive smell of zesty lime. It’s a shame that there was only the shampoo; I would have loved to have the scent as a shower gel, or even better, as a perfume!

So I was all the more delighted when I started to focus on my hair care again and stumbled upon the perfume and body spray section in the Lush Online Store.
Short and snappy, BIG is written on the spray bottle (by the way, I find the design incredibly funny, it looks great on my shelf).
So I ordered it blindly - after, of course, thoroughly sifting through reviews - and hoped for the best.

All in all: the scent is dreamy. I use it as a room fragrance, for my freshly made bed, as a hair perfume (I of course also ordered the shampoo right away), as a perfume for my clothes - it lasts several days on my wool sweaters - and of course as a perfume.
An absolute feel-good scent.

However, I must also admit that the opening is extremely intense for me. After spraying, something hits me under the typical sea breeze that I can only describe as mushy lemon. But I only smell that for the first 5-10 minutes and only if I hold my nose directly to the sprayed area.
Unfortunately, the spray lacks the typical lime note.

But I can overlook that because the dry down is all the better. I actually don’t smell the mandarin, orange, or neroli at all. (Not a problem, as I can’t really relate to any of those).
It remains a salty lemon, to which vanilla eventually joins.

It reminds me of a damp linen cloth drying in the sun at the beach. It smells "aired out." Wonderful.

A Day at the Beach

I love Lush Big, right off the bat.
The shampoo is a dream, but the body spray here is also great.
Moreover, you get 200ml for €40, which for me has the longevity of an eau de parfum. The scent stays with me all day, constantly creeping back into my nose, and I only need two spritzes of it.
Yes, the opening is not for the faint of heart. Synthetic with neroli and citrus.
But it develops into something more comforting.
Has vanilla always been a component? I’ve never noticed it before.
I just love wearing this scent in warm temperatures; it gives me such vacation vibes, like a day at the beach.
I look forward to wearing it every time.
