Not from the best, but dark circles
As the esteemed Leimbacher already wrote, fragrances without a specified pyramid or ingredients are a bit of a challenge. Even research online didn’t get me anywhere. After all, "Black Circle" has already been discontinued by Mad et Len.
Why this is the case can only be speculated, just as one can ponder what exactly is in it. At first sniff, I detect dark balsamic notes, something delicately floral alongside a powdery iris, possibly something slightly mineral, and a briefly appearing and equally quickly fading animalic leather note. Additionally, I wouldn’t be surprised if a half drop of oud made its way in there. Beneath it, heavy woody undertones.
The whole thing is quite dark and timidly sweetened with typical niche fragrance character. However, the black circle has more or less its downsides as well. These manifest in the shy voluminousness. Just when you think you can identify the components of the fragrance, it has already vanished again. Whoosh - like black magic.
More persistence would have been advantageous, but since "Black Circle" has gone into oblivion and is now only encountered extremely rarely, there’s no need to worry about it anymore.
