A special and nostalgic scent for me
A few months ago, during my early days on Parfumo, I reviewed Extase Latin Fever Man quite superficially based on my childhood memories. Now, thanks to an auctioned collection dissolution, the bottle has found its way to me. In fact, this is a completely full 50ml tester! I could hardly believe my luck! The bottle is a bit dusty, the cap doesn't fit and likely belongs to another fragrance, and there is no original packaging - but I don't care! Now I get to reassess and review the Eau de Toilette anew. In the end, I am quite taken with it and don’t want to part with the tester! I really don’t understand the poor reviews on Parfumo at all. The longevity was really good for me. You can smell it nicely for 6-7 hours, and even after 10-12 hours, there’s still something to enjoy up close. The sillage can also be described as good. My colleague complimented me on the scent this morning :-)

The top note starts floral with lavender, a bit of geranium, festive thanks to cinnamon, and a hint of bergamot. The heart note remains quite floral-cinnamony for me with a slight herbal quality. And this Christmas-evoking note carries through to the base. Here, I have to think of cinnamon rolls. The scent is woody-sweet and reminds me of rosewood.

The longer I sniff on my arm, the more I like the scent DNA. And I must, which is a bit embarrassing for me, think a little of "Oud Stars - Alexandria II (Parfum) | XerJoff."

The Unexpected, Stored Somewhere
I recently discovered Extase Latin Fever Man completely by chance. It is very rare for me to buy something so spontaneously.

For me, it is a scent that belongs to autumn or especially to winter. It has no place in summer.

Over 20 years ago, I once perceived a fragrance somewhere that Extase Latin Fever Man now reminds me of. It may be that nostalgia is also playing a part in my current enthusiasm.
Because I had stored the scent in my mind, but in the following years, I never searched for anything like it.
And now it encountered me completely unexpectedly. I couldn't help myself.

Even though it is not found in the pyramid, I smell something like cherry and bitter almond. Perhaps it also depends on the skin type how the scent develops. I am certainly fascinated by it.

It is not an expensive pleasure to acquire Extase Latin Fever Man. It may not have the refinement of a designer fragrance. But it has something.

Harz 4 Water
Not ecstasy at all,,, rather the cheap scent you smell every summer on sweaty people, making you want to escape :-!

Doesn't last... not worth it... doesn't offer anything special.. so no thanks!

There's really nothing more to say about it.
