Radiant Awakening - The Masterful Symbiosis of White Laundry and Green Dew
The theme of freshness has traditionally been writ large at MFK.
This fragrance could also be found as a room scent in a SPA.
A true feel-good fragrance, without the typical shower-gel DNA.
Scent: 8,5/10
The opening starts with a sparkling lemon that clearly dominates the first phase, although the whole thing is accompanied from the very beginning by typical aromatic herbs such as rosemary and thyme.
This opening immediately evokes the image of a dew-fresh meadow in the morning.
It feels almost invigorating and, thankfully, avoids any sharp citrus quality.
After a short time, the lemon disappears and floral notes emerge. I cannot determine whether they are the flowers listed in the pyramid.
After the drydown is complete, light, pale woody notes give the whole composition a soft skin-like feel.
However, both herbs remain present in the fragrance from beginning to end.
Longevity: 6/10
Unfortunately, this is where noticeable compromises have to be made. At least on my skin, I cannot rave about its longevity and sillage.
Conclusion:
I am truly no fan of such outright clean fragrances.
But this one is actually so special that it won me over.
Would I want a bottle of it? Probably not. Nevertheless, it is a really wonderful fragrance.
