Alchemico Mazzolari 2015

A great attempt to transmute silver into greenery. The olfactory embodiment of my previous perfume buying behavior.

If an ancient marble bust could emit a scent, it might smell like this: incense, gentle-spicy notes, and flowers adorn the statue.

Frosty-clear incense, cypress resin, desaturated green, wood. Cutting pepper vs. dull-musty facet. Unapproachable, yet intriguing.

Wonderful ménage à trois of frankincense (bright, silvery, almost citrusy), vetiver (bitter, light green-woody) & cypress (dark green, herbal)

Dusty cypress in the foreground. The attempt to imitate an antique scent may have succeeded. This limits it as a perfume.
