Summer is for tomatoes
Tomato plant, tomato leaves, tomato tar caked on your fingers after you've spent hours picking bushels of tomatoes; the sky is blue and the sun is warm and the irrigation sprinklers are on full blast. Everything around you is green, green, green.

Winters can be harsh where I live. When we're in the darkest, coldest months of the year, I like to wear this to remind me that warm days are ahead.

When I first smelled this out of the sample sprayer, what I got the most was tomato leaf. Months later, full bottle in hand, I get so much more of the fruitiness - red berries, blackcurrant, fig, citrus. Green and juicy and bright.

Tomatoes
I can't say this smells bad because to me it doesn't and actually it smells nice. On the other hand I can't say it smells like a perfume one would wear just to smell nice, rather I would say it is interesting.

I have worn this a few times now and can smell it all day, with a great come back burst next morning when I wash my hair in the shower (because I like to give a quick spritz of perfume in my hair). So, on me at least, it has pretty decent longevity.

Again on me this is also pretty linear. All day I can smell a very slightly lemony crushed tomato leaf with some accents of ivy gone wild. And that's it. I don't get any fruitiness, I don't notice galbanum, nor am I reminded of woods and moss.

But I do find it a pleasant smell that doesn't turn on me, doesn't smell funky or dirty, doesn't suddenly develop discordant notes of vanilla , just pleasantly realistic crushed tomato leaves.

Helping my dad around the garden
Chopped leaves, very natural, green and fresh, there's even a bit of citrus in there. I'm reminded of helping my dad around the garden in the spring, removing branches and leaves from the trees and bushes. It's definitely greenness in a bottle, and for that reason maybe not everyone's cup of tea. I like it for how natural it is.

La Feuille-Miller Harris
La Feuille-Miller Harris

This is the only perfume that deserves to be called "completely natural." The only one in which I feel nothing synthetic or in any way unnatural.
The notes are more than interesting, unusual. The tomato leaf note is particularly noteworthy, about which I was equally skeptical and curious. And it turned out to be exactly the note that impresses the whole story in the most beautiful way. This tomato leaf, which was so intense in the opening, made me feel so "intoxicated" that I wished it were even stronger.
I know, it sounds strange, a tomato leaf, it is really a bit unusual how magical it can be ... ?
I wished this initial phase would last a bit longer, but what follows is truly real magic. A rose, but there is something else, something green and a little bitter.

This ivy helps the rose adapt to this bitter magic and not turn into sweetness. There is nothing sweet here, I think it would spoil the whole story.
In the final phase, everything is a bit softer, a bit woodier.

After a few hours, all these ingredients blend so well into your skin that someone who hugs you thinks it is your natural skin scent. The fact that the perfume is vegan probably contributes to this as well.

The scent of untouched nature, so I would call this perfume. A recovery from all heaviness, a paradise for the senses.

Absolutely unisex. I think spring, late summer, and early autumn would be its best time.

Due to the extreme specificity, especially in the opening, I do not recommend a blind buy. ?

But I wholeheartedly recommend testing it. ❤️

Maturity Test
Peach. Unripe. So you can smell the pit with bits of fruit still attached, nibbled away, although strangely enough it's unripe.
It's a green peach. Just unripe. Not juicy but dry, dull and fuzzy on the front incisors. Not sour, but blunt, I would say, unripe.
I also smell leaves, branches, and cut grass; a swimming pool feeling, chlorine water, Caipirinha.
So nothing is sweet, but gourmand, for the citrusy, unripe peach cheeks among us.
Also painting.

Tomato plant realness! Green, tomato, earthy, beautiful. This was my #1 green scent 'til Celadon which evolves a bit more.

Unjustly overlooked. Very natural green scent with tomato leaf as the main player. Transitions from fresh to earthy. Unisex.
