Nabeel Vuitton
Let's not kid ourselves, folks. The fragrance comes from the Ombre Nomade family. So far, so bad for some, so far, so good for me & fans of this DNA.
This review would be quite short if Nabeel didn't add his own interpretation.
There are three significant aspects that feel noticeably different from the original:
Instead of the simple raspberry, I notice a berry mix that makes a slightly fruity appearance in the opening and remains present to varying degrees throughout.
Floral notes from jasmine and rose expand and support the base DNA, making the fragrance naturally broader. This makes it quite sweet, which is why the scent comes across as lighter, more wearable, and not so heavy.
Similar to the original, incense rounds off the overall package towards the end. The difference is that the incense here feels more subdued, which allows it to truly complete the composition.
Otherwise, the fragrance offers exactly what Ombre Nomade is known for. In my opinion, the oud is just not as dominant.
So what’s the conclusion?
Yes, I wonder that too a bit. Another representative of Ombre Nomade that expands on the core idea.
The fragrance may not have any edges or corners for me, but it is more multifaceted. It is much more wearable and therefore easier to like.
Is this a dupe?
- no, certainly not for me.
For me, it is yet another successful alternative to "Ombre Nomade | Louis Vuitton," where I slowly get the feeling that this DNA somehow seems underdeveloped. Especially these floral notes fit quite well with the core idea. However, this gives it strong parallels to the also good "Rescent Man | Mystery, Modern Mark."
Considering the price aspect as well, it becomes clear where I would rather reach.
I get much more fragrance here for a fraction of the price of the original. And that from Nabeel. #justmy2pfennig
