Melon bomb

Let’s be honest—I bought it for the beautiful bottle, hoping I’d enjoy the contents too. I’ve certainly smelled worse, but this is not only nothing to write home about, but it also feels like it was done a million times over...in the 1990’s. When Cool Water and Acqua di Gio were all the rage. And everything else “aquatic,” when we all know we were really just smelling melon. It also doesn’t smell particularly green. I’m not getting any of the notes listed, and that’s the problem with this brand, it’s all aromachemicals, and then they give you this list of notes like you’re supposed to believe any of that is actually in there. This is a whole heap of synthetic musks, probably calone, and some chemical that is supposed to smell “green”. I’m not buying it. Oh, wait, I did buy it, a whole damn bottle of it. I love seeing it on my dresser, but I wish I could dump out the liquid and replace it with something worthy of the bottle.

Green Nest

Yes, I admit, that’s not a particularly original title!

But I really can’t think of anything better! Because "Verde" is primarily one thing: green! Green, green, and almost nothing else! Yes, a little bit fresh as well, and at the very beginning, a slightly citrus note flashes through, which I attribute to the verbena leaf.
The fragrance notes "fern" and "Himalayan cedar" are not among those that are clearly defined in my scent memory and easily recognizable to me. I know vetiver from other, particularly masculine, perfumes more intensely or distinctly - here it does not come to the forefront. So it’s a harmonious blend of green notes. Not a spring-like delicate green, but the full, rich green of early summer, when the forests are in full leaf and no midsummer heat has yet caused the first dry leaves.
A beautiful scent for nature lovers and fans of perfumes that remind one of forest walks and lush meadows. For me, it’s definitely unisex.

By the way, I bought the perfume on a recommendation in a fragrance consultation thread (as so often, blindly).
I really like the bottle with the decor of ferns and bell-shaped flowers!
