Tangy and creamy orange creamsicle
Took a trip to Sephora and tested out a few new fragrances, including this one. It's impossible not to compare Crème de Clementine vs Clementine Dream since both have clementine in their name, claim to be orange creamsicle inspired scent and both are sold at Sephora. So here goes my review!

I'll say it right now, this one clearly wins the battle of the orange creamsicle between NEST and The 7 Virtues. Instead of having a plethora of notes to try and replicate an orange creamsicle, NEST stuck with a few notes and crafted them right. The beginning is tangy, fresh and fruity as the orange comes out fighting. Doesn't take long before this very creamy, gourmand flavor comes out. Orange and vanilla ice cream are swirled together just right and it's just so mouthwatering! It's a pretty linear fragrance I do have to say and it dries down vanilla, creamy, fruity and citrusy, just like it says.

Although orange creamsicle sounds summer-like, I'd wear this best during spring and fall. It has a very nice comforting, cozy and creamy drydown which makes it nice for colder temps, but the orange and citrusy notes at the top make it a refreshing and tangy option for warm weather (but not sweltering weather). I've bought myself a travel size and will be testing it out further, but right now I'm leaning towards buying a full bottle during the Sephora's Fall Sale. I will say it's not blind-buy safe as my boyfriend also tested it on his skin and his skin chemistry didn't react as well to it as mine did. Try before you buy, but don't pass up on it!

Cotton Candy Creamsicle
This starts out as a soft toasted clementine. You get the crisped edge of a marshmallow, like that nearly caramelized sugar coming in shortly after, and then there’s a bit of a candy floss surprise. To me, it’s unexpected and does change the scent from creamsicle which could get very overwhelming, to a more mainstream scent—closer to the Killian fragrance that Rihanna allegedly loves.

It does have a super soft sillage and I don’t think it lasts very long but it is fun. A slightly older Pink Sugar (she’s in high school now) that would be really fun in the summertime. This one is for the ultra feminine girlies OR the girlies with multiple aesthetics who like to curate extremely particular vibes.

Note: this also smells like a more cost effective version of Acqua e Zucchero Profumum Roma post dry-down. Which has ironically enough, just confirmed my suspicions that that fragrance is not for me. Too sweet. I’m also getting Dime Beauty’s I Love Your Smell Baby in this.

How to Regret Buying in One Whiff (not this one lol)
Well damn this smells nice.

I bought Clementine Dream by 7 Virtues a few months back, which is also a clementine-vanilla fragrance, but then found it more powdery than I thought. I didn’t mind it, but I haven’t worn it since I sampled it.

But then THIS comes in and blows it out the park. I want THIS!

While vanilla note Clementine Dream is more of a vanilla powder, Creme de Clementine is most definitely a vanilla cream blended beautifully with the fruit, making it sweeter and more addicting for me.

Fresh Citrus with a Whisper of Vanilla
A bright photorealistic orange, complete with the rind, flesh, and leaves. It leans green without being too earthy, the citrus zest is front and center for this fragrance. Wears close to the skin and has a soft vanilla dry down. I wish the “crème” was more pronounced, it’s not a decadent gourmand and certainly not a creamsicle scent. For me this is a fresh zesty citrus with a hint of sweetness.

A toddlers breath after eating too much candy.
INSANELY STICKY SWEET DISGUSTING! Juiced Clementine poured in a bucket of white sugar and stirred on low heat, insanely sickly cloyingly sweet sirup. Makes me gag. Sadly lasts long and projects. Horrible. What a toddlers Breath smells like after eating a bucket of Candy and drinking goddamn Sirup. I feel sick. I feel bad even giving this sample i have away to someone. Never have i smelled a perfume before and it made me gag and my stomach turn. I’m a gourmand lover and an orange lover too but this… i really wish i could relate to the good reviews.

A very realistic frozen orange creamsicle opening, with a synthetic sweet vanilla woods base. Wish it kept the opening.

Smells very nice. Photorealistic clementine with a creamy base. However, really poor projection; need to put skin up to my nose to smell it.

"I want an orange dreamsicle perfume!" girlies have been given their request. THE perfect creamsicle. It's exactly that, no notes. 10/10.

Literally the most photorealistic fragrance I've ever smelled. This is straight up orange creamsicle. I'd love more vanilla though.

There is something magical about the opening. A softness lies behind the invigorating smell of peeling a fresh clementine.

Beautiful though fleeting clementine. Juicy. Dry down is creamy and sweet. It’s a creamsicle! Poor concentration & longevity unfortunately.

Starts off with a burst of juicy clementine. Dries down pretty quickly to a generic vanilla with a touch of orange peel.

Orange and really strong sweet vanilla. Longevity was not great on me. Reminds me of DandG Devotion

Woody, orange creamsicle. Very sweet but not nauseating. The orange fades but not as fast as most citrus notes.
