Addicted is the human child,

for the sweetness from the scent segment
from witches just like us.
Fragrances, sweet with caramel flavor,
and some chocolate-fine,
the nose wants more, gets it too
and we never say no.
Your blood will turn to licorice,
in your thick fat.
The heart will soon be chocolate,
the brain to caramel,
the synapses you cannot hold,
on this carousel.
The skin melts away like syrup,

Do I need a new scent? :-) No

This week I tested Kilian Princess again at the perfume store...and had to spray Cristallo di Rocca at home for comparison. Oh yes. Perfect weather for this beautiful, special, and enveloping fragrance. At the same time spicy, sweet, elegant...like a warming cashmere scarf....I can just picture such a thick checkered scarf while writing this...at first glance just a scarf....but it is the favorite scarf because it "enhances" every outfit and keeps you particularly warm. Involuntarily, I have an image of the rough Irish/Scottish sea in front of me. A long walk on the beach, wind, sturdy boots, crackling fire in a cottage, and to warm up a strong tea with milk, perhaps something sweet on the side. Cristallo is not just sweet, but like an apple crumble that should be enjoyed lukewarm with a scoop of ice cream, where you can perceive the different flavor notes like cinnamon, vanilla, and the various textures like the crunchy crumbs and the creamy-melting ice cream. And Cristallo certainly has a special depth with its smoky aspect and always something delicious for me from the scent of whiskey/rum.

The Story of a Love Thought to be Dead

It was an extremely warm day in spring when a man set out to see his then beloved. It had been quiet around her for a long time, the love seemed frozen, yet he still hoped for a new beginning. He walked down the street where she lived, deliberately taking strong steps. His steps grew quieter and his upper body seemed to sag further forward the closer he got to his beloved. He had a bad feeling. It was as if thousands of pebbles were falling into his body, robbing him of any breath he would need to remain in this world and love that one woman. The closer he got to the door, the more the pebbles pounded in his thoughts, in his stomach, even in his feet, which grew heavier. So heavy that he believed he had stepped into a swamp. To make matters worse, the weather turned gloomy. The wind blew softly, causing his gray hair to fly through the air. The wind settled into the bare concrete walls of the street and swelled more and more. His hair flew around in an increasingly chaotic manner. He had grown old. Not the body. But the spirit.

There he stood now. Sweat had him fully in its grip, his legs seemed to sink into the ground, and his heart was pounding like crazy. So much that it almost hurt. Gently, he reached for the doorbell, pressed it down, and stepped back. He closed his eyes, and a loud "Come in!" echoed promptly.

He peered through the door and saw directly into the living room, where soft classical music played. Slowly, he stepped inside. The air in this old apartment was filled with such beautiful spices that he felt uplifted and slightly dazed. This suited him just fine. It was a calming, trusting, and satisfying feeling. The tension was still there, but something was dampening it. Gradually, the pebbles and the ton-heavy boulders were blasted out of his body, his legs became lighter, and the horses no longer galloped.

There she stood now. With an elongated body, stunningly naturally pink-painted lips, wrapped in a black kimono. It was as if an invisible force reached for him and pulled him toward her. She made it clear with her eyes to follow her. A beautiful caramel weight trailed behind her. The longer he followed her, the more he seemed to merge with this wonderful caramel scent. A light sweetness of honey brushed his nose, making his mouth water. Vanilla came to mind, as the scent became not only more intense but also slightly sweet. Everything melted together in a smoky cauldron. These magnificent spices, this truly wonderful caramel scent seemed to settle into his veins like a massive load of resins. His thoughts seemed to have been stifled. Only his heart continued to beat unexpectedly. Smoky tendrils filled the apartment as he stood just an arm's length away from her. He believed he was suffocating, yet she reached for him. She held him tight and made it clear that he could stay here after all. The smile on her face spoke volumes. The smoke lessened, but it was still very present.

"I have been waiting for you. Forever!" came from her lips. He pressed his head against hers, inhaling the scent she wore. A colorful carousel of emotions began to spin in his head, for this scent revelation, this force that this fragrance exuded, made him weak.

The love thought to be dead seemed to have risen again. Accompanied by dramatic classical music and a scent that knows exactly how to make the puppets dance.

For me, it is one of the most beautiful and decadent orientals I have ever encountered. First very sweet, due to the unmistakable caramel, then very noble through the beautiful and high-quality vanilla, and then still so present through the wonderful combination of tobacco and spices. The perfume truly knocks you out! It loudly nests in our heads and lets its seductive note flow into our hearts and thoughts.

It is indeed strong, driving, wild, seductive, dominant, and loud, yet it is also one more thing: a wonderful oriental that lies very smoothly on the skin and provides the wearer with wonderful moments. The sillage is expansive, and the longevity of this scent surpasses a day.

Thank you, dear Belle, for a fragrance that will surely stay in my memory for a long time and will definitely find a place with me. I call that a sweet, smoky force! Right on target.

My Favorite Surprise Fragrance

Here it is because this beautiful scent was handed to me today by my DHL lady.
A gift from a very dear Parfuma. :-)
In her honor, I am attempting to write a comment about this truly beautiful fragrance,
which suits me like a glove. :-)
The scent starts off, as indicated, with vanilla and caramel, but is initially overshadowed by a good portion of nutmeg, which I really like. The lovely vanilla, the sweet caramel spiced with nutmeg.
After about half an hour, the nutmeg accord recedes and makes way for subtle incense and other spices that I cannot define individually.
Gradually, the fragrance comes together into a wonderful whole.
Vanilla and caramel remain until the end. But subtly sweet, not overwhelming.
For me, this scent is a perfect vanilla-spicy, slightly smoky companion for the autumn and winter season.
I am absolutely thrilled about this unexpected gift.
This fragrance is definitely worth a try.
The longevity is good, the sillage does not cause mass panic, which I appreciate, and the bottle with its real wood cap is a dream.
This little treasure is wearable by both ladies and gentlemen.
