On the move
She wanders through the woods. Is one with nature. Trees and bushes, fruit and herbs, the earth: this is her home. Her eyes shine under the ambient sun as she stands with her bare feet on the mossy ground, dancing and laughing. Adorned with a few pine branches and green sweet grass, she looks forward to each new day. And blends into her surroundings so that enemies can never find her. She is not tall. Neither is it loud. And she doesn't need to be. Because she is brave, strong and always enchanting.
Yes, I fell a little bit in love with Nori Brandyfoot from the series "The Rings of Power". Markella Kavenagh plays the little nomad so wonderfully. Moss by Perfumer H could be her fragrance. Close to nature, green, pure, soft and quiet and simply everlastingly enchanting. In the typical Lyn Harris way. I can see that many other reviewers also see an idyllic picture of nature here. Moss is so enchantingly different, like many classic moss fragrances, which I attribute mainly to the soft and sweet amber that Harris loves to work with. Here in Moss, the spicier notes tend to prevail towards the base, a little lavender flashes through from time to time, but this amber note, which immediately makes me think of nori, is always present.
I was actually expecting something completely different here. A classic chypre fragrance. But Moss is by no means that. Yes, as is so often the case with Lyn's compositions, there are classic elements, but the fragrance remains constantly transparent and ethereal, almost a little mystical, which is why it fits so well into this fantasy world for me. A fragrance for dreaming, but the quiet tones should definitely appeal, as with many of the perfumer's other creations.
Thanks to Floyd for the testing opportunity
