Gucci Rush Man - there you are again

My favorite scent in the 90's was Gucci Rush for men - the early years of Mr. Tom Ford (also his most creative for me).

This fragrance was already said to have a cocaine note. And he shaped the 90s decade creatively like no other fragrance.

White Rush has a touch less myrrh and a pinch more charcoal... but all in all very round and on a high level and durability and silage is comparable to the last drops of my rare Rush stock, which I can finally let go without crocodile tears .

I just didn't understand why Rossmann put it on the women's shelf. A woman of the world understands how beguiling this olfactum smells, but the masses of drugstore vanilla-fruit girls are probably slightly overwhelmed by it and buy the next "Eau de Pudding". On the men's shelf it would probably perform twice as well.

The milder cocaine smoke

Cocaine was way too sweet for me. I was very fond of Black Ash. However, it was still too sweet and not focused enough on the smoky note. Now I was very curious about White Ash...

The opening of White Ash was immediately mine! A fragrance reminiscent of freshly burned charcoal. Smoky with a relatively strong spiciness from which one can still guess the tree species of the wood. This goes exactly in my direction.

After one hour a nice, slightly sweetish becoming charcoal scent has developed on my forearm. It is much less sweet and intense than Black Ash, which I find very pleasant. Although it is described as synthetic, I find it, at least to ME, very natural.

On the whole, the silage is unobtrusive, i.e. rather mediocre to weak, which may even make it suitable for office use.

Parallel to the forearm, I also applied it to a test strip, by the way: Here, a completely different scent is shown. The scent here is much more intense and the silage much stronger. Already penetratingly unpleasantly citric and not very smoky.

A fragrance, therefore, which is particularly worth testing on your own skin.

In the 2nd hour the well-known cocaine sweetness comes through and the smoke subsides, but still remains well present. The sweetness here is much milder than with Black Ash. Probably because it only comes from the incense and there is no Styrax in it like in Black Ash.

In summary, we can say that we have a relatively mild first spicy/herbaceous and later sweetish wood smoke smell here. If Black Ash is too sweet and too intense for you, but you basically like this direction, I recommend to test this one.

I'm thinking of getting both.

Rammstein White Ash cocaine

Bought the scent at Rossman's today for 29.99. I own the predecessor cocaine Intense which smells really fucking great. So I wanted to give the new White Ash a chance because the Black Ash was not yet available. This scent smells really good and stands out of the crowd. The incense/fir scent is in the foreground here. I personally find it very interesting. Unfortunately it does not last very long. After 2 to 3 hours it is already over again. I hope also here for an Intense version. Does it smell like cocaine? I do not know what cocaine smells like. But if you're looking for something fancy you've come to the right place. I don't know anything comparable..
