Engel Pure Rammstein 2022

i‘m a teenager and was kind of worried about getting accused of having drugs. but you probably shouldn‘t worry about that with this perfume.

it opens with a bitter, fresh, cooling grapefruit accord that is defined and slightly sweetened by the elemi. that‘s the structure of this fragrance, and it‘s hyperrealistic. as support structures, there are green accords and a little bit of pepper.

it sounds somewhat basic, but it‘s actually really nice. the cool thing about rammstein is that no matter what you get from them, it will be different.

it has a clean and crystal clear feel to it. “wie ein diamant“

During a small excursion with my girlfriend to the Rossi, just about 100 meters away, I was quite surprised when I looked at the perfume shelf. A new fragrance from Rammstein! Engel Pure! And no tester to try! Boohoo!
My girlfriend quickly found a fragrance pyramid online. “Cannabis”?! OK! Bought!
At home, I had to try the little concoction immediately, and I must say, just like with the other Rammstein scents, I was not disappointed! You can think what you want about the band, the perfume is mega. Mea Culpa, it took me a long time before I even tried one of the perfumes - and yes, because they are promotional items. But I have thoroughly changed my mind. And so, one by one, all the bottles moved in with me.
Engel Pure hit me like a bomb right away. The grapefruit starts with a loud bang and shoots straight into my nose! Very nice - I love this scent!
Quietly, very quietly but noticeably, the scent of hemp flowers emerges behind it.

I know this smell from the hemp maze in Butzbach, where you can not only sniff but also learn a lot about this wonderful plant that many only know by the term cannabis. I am sure that the Rammsteiners had a completely different meaning in mind. Although I then wonder if I wear the scent only at home or also while driving? Police check: “Your car smells so strange! Do you have bags in the vehicle?”
All in all, I can distinctly recognize only grapefruit, cannabis, and elemi resin. Due to its fresh but not sweet orientation, Engel Pure can be worn unisex. The longevity is again outstanding, and even after showering the next day, you can still detect the base. For that price, it’s simply unbeatable! 100 ml for €29.90 - you can't go wrong!
It's a pity, it would have been the perfect summer scent for me! I will get at least one more bottle and look forward to next summer!!!

As a happy owner of Kokain Black and Gold, I bought my third Rammstein fragrance blindly due to the lack of a tester.
Absolutely no disappointment, but a big surprise.

Having been used to dark, almost sinister notes, I was immediately hit by a grapefruit blast like no other right after spraying.
In my opinion, the grapefruit peel clearly belongs in the top note.

Vetiver and pepper give the fragrance a wonderful spiciness that lasts acceptably long. Only the cannabis I cannot consciously perceive.

Of the Rammstein scents I have smelled so far, this is certainly the most pleasing and mass-appealing.
Unisex, pleasant, office-appropriate, and with an excellent price-performance ratio, Engel is recommended as a high-quality everyday scent.

When has one ever experienced a merchandise collection of this quality?
At Rammstein, some manufacturers of luxury cars could learn a thing or two.

It's the 2000s, and I'm a teenager again. Tarantino releases a retro film that I watch in the cinema. "Like every Tarantino," a good friend of mine remarks: "Super boring, then super brutal, then again super boring." He's not entirely wrong, but I have a soft spot for Tarantino's work in general and this film in particular. Fast car, sunglasses, a joint, sparkling jacket, greasy food, free lap dance, and the day is yours.

When the film comes out on DVD, I routinely buy it for my collection. Since my pocket money is unexpectedly good at the moment, I purchase the limited collector's edition, consisting of a not-so-pretty tin box shaped like a gas can, two discs that are supposed to smell like diesel when rubbed, and a scent tree in the form of a female silhouette, which, through the surrounding plastic wrap, smells in a somehow pleasant perfumer's way of Mary Jane and catapults me back into the film for a fraction of a second. To ensure this edition doesn't lose its value, I leave the scent tree untouched in its wrap.

Fast forward. I'm 30 and need, despite living in a big city, my first car. It's going to be a bright red Spaniard, already a few years old, exactly as old as the film associated with the scent tree, compact and not much under the hood. It's cheap enough to pay for all at once. To give it a personal touch, I attach the scent tree to the rearview mirror, which is now freed from its virgin wrap. It's midsummer, I leave the engine running, inhale the herbal cloud, glance through the sunglasses at the curvy silhouette, and for a moment, I feel like I'm part of that film.

A few years later, the little tree has given off its last scent molecule, and my little Spaniard is replaced by a more elegant, newer Italian with a notchback. No V8, but enough power to be fun. The scent tree, now just a decoration for the eye, gets to move and receives a new rearview mirror to dangle from.

When I test this perfume in the drugstore, I don't trust my nose and internally tell myself:

“Angel Pure” smells exactly like the scent tree, like the alluring silhouette, like the whole film. Grinning, I head to the checkout.

Upon the first spray, my first thought was that someone was pressing a fresh grapefruit peel under my nose. The grapefruit remains quite present, but after a short time, a light spiciness mixes in. I find the scent very interesting and pleasant...I haven't encountered anything like it before. Long-lasting, but not overpowering, and a good price-performance ratio.
