Cotton Candy on an Oud Stick
The fragrance 6 | Six is a real surprise. For me, it was a blind buy based on the video from Eau de Anni.

First of all, the bottle is quite minimalist and harmonious.
The juice has a beautiful golden color, hopefully the scent is just as “golden.”

When I first sprayed the fragrance, on a test strip at first, I was very disappointed. Somehow heavy, a bit musty, scratchy, and masculine. Phew, maybe it will get better over time. After half an hour, I smelled it again on the strip, yes, a bit better but hmm.
This can't be right, it doesn't match Anni's impressions at all.

Now that I have it, I applied it to my skin, maybe that will make the crucial difference. And yes, it does.
The fragrance develops wonderfully on the skin, after about 5-10 minutes it becomes softer and a bit sweeter. The unpleasantness from the beginning has completely disappeared.
It becomes cozier, softer, sweeter.
The oud gives way to cozy cashmere and delicate cotton candy. Important: it never becomes too sweet for me and is wonderfully unisex.

I have fallen in love and I am already looking forward to wearing it more often as it gets cooler.

My tip to everyone, don't let the somewhat harsh opening or the first impression on the test strip deter you. Be sure to test it on your skin before you write it off.
The warmth of the skin works true wonders.
I am glad I bought it blind, because otherwise I probably wouldn’t have tested it on my skin.

Hello dear Parfumistas and Parfumos,
It has been a long time since I was excited about a fragrance and have been passionately wearing it daily for weeks. In over 35° heat, as well as in rainy 15°C (Thanks Germany!)
But a brief prelude to my review (If you want to skip the review, you can skip this part now):
I went with friends to our new Douglas flagship store in Düsseldorf. Just browsing. Not buying anything. A little sniffing. I’m sure everyone knows that feeling. As I was leaving, there was a tiny corner with bottles right at the entrance. "Whipped and Creamy" was written on it. I like creamy. I love vanilla. Sprayed it on and went out again.
Hours later, I kept getting a whiff that smelled incredibly good. "WHO is that and what is that person wearing!" I didn’t realize that it was me that day.
Two weeks later, I went back to Douglas, same game and sprayed myself with the same fragrance (because it was right at the entrance/exit) again. I smelled my hand. I had to cough. Smoky and scratchy in the throat, I thought. Well, otherwise okay. Hours later again: what smells so good!? This time I noticed it again at home and sniffed my jacket. That’s me!
The next day, I went straight to Douglas and bought the bottle, even though 139€ for 50ml is quite a niche price...
But now to the review:
The opening is the only downside for me. It scratches in the throat and nose, making me want to sneeze or cough. However, that only lasts about a minute. After that, a beautiful oud emerges, enveloped by a soft cashmere accord and amber. The scent is very well blended, so after about 30 minutes, you can already perceive the base - the cotton candy accord. Not childishly sweet, not cheap, but soft, creamy, and a great pairing with oud. In my opinion, the cotton candy makes the oud suitable for everyday wear and appealing to the masses.
Overall, it’s a round and smooth composition.
My friends and colleagues also love the scent, and I receive unsolicited compliments across the board (age, gender, orientation, etc.), which is very rare. Usually, I ask how my surroundings perceive my scent.
Projection is medium to strong in the first 2 hours, then it becomes intimate. However, you are still enveloped in a scent bubble until the next day. Speaking of longevity, it lasts up to 12 hours on the skin and even longer on clothing (natural materials like wool and felt). On synthetics, I found the longevity shorter.
Sillage is medium to strong. You definitely notice my scent trail across several office corridors.
I feel good with this fragrance, a crowd-pleaser that not everyone has or has smelled elsewhere. The quality is high and it layers very well.
The scent is definitely unisex.
The company Valjues is still quite new, founded by two girls from Cologne to produce clean and sustainable products. Bottles are probably still filled by hand.
If you don’t know the fragrances yet, you can sniff them at Douglas or order a discovery set.
I will definitely reorder.

Freshly Washed, Well-Cared-For Vanilla
I really like the scent and had to order it immediately when I received a sample from a dear Souk partner as a gift! I knew right away that I liked the fragrance a lot.

On my skin, 6 | Six really does remind me a bit of a freshly washed, or rather well-cared-for vanilla. Still, the vanilla does not come off as too cool or too fresh, but warm and cozy, slightly sweet (but not too sweet), slightly bitter (but not too bitter).

Due to this slight freshness, the fragrance is also well-suited for men who still value a certain "masculinity" in a scent.
Some men don’t like it when a perfume smells too warm and feminine, vanilla-like, or slightly sweet. For me, as a woman, it still comes across as feminine in its own way. Truly a suitable fragrance for everyone. Great scent!

Smoke and Sugar
Wait a minute, who is roasting almonds here? Another fragrance that I can hardly wait to wear in the fall! It opens with an explosion of smoky and woody oud, but the drydown transforms this scent into an absolutely delicious gourmand. Once the oud settles down, Six turns into a creamy and roasted vanilla, accompanied by fluffy cotton candy and soft cashmere. Definitely a fragrance to snuggle up with on a cold and rainy Sunday in October!

Nice scent in a questionable bottle
I discovered the scent in Cologne. I found the fragrance appealing right from the first test, and since I had a voucher anyway, I took it home.

The scent starts off sweet and cozy, with a pronounced vanilla note and a lot of cotton candy. The oud is also strongly recognizable and gives the fragrance a nice woody twist, so it doesn't become too sweet or drift into the kitschy. In my opinion, the balance between woody and sweet is very well done. On cold winter days, the scent unfolds beautifully, becoming really cozy. Nothing new, but nice.
The longevity and sillage are above average, especially I find the sillage to be enormous.
Overall, the fragrance feels high-quality and also original due to the interplay of wood and cotton candy.
However, a major problem for me is the bottle. I find it so incredibly cheap and low-quality that I wouldn't repurchase the fragrance for this reason. Please don't get me wrong: Although I have a great fondness for "kitsch" and extravagant bottles, I have no objections to simple and plain bottles if they appear elegant and high-quality. Just think of the beautiful but simple bottles from Chanel or Montale... but what they were thinking here really remains a mystery to me. The glass looks cheap, the label is crookedly applied and already started to peel off at the corners when I took it out of the packaging. It is made of very thin paper and is not coated, so fingerprints, etc. remain.
What a shame! I really wonder why so little love (and apparently also little cost) is put into the bottle for such expensive and high-quality fragrances (50ml for nearly 140 euros). In a fragrance in this price category, one should expect significantly more, in my opinion. Therefore, the price-performance ratio is not balanced for me, even though the scent is quite nice. I will not repurchase it, as there are countless similar fragrances where the overall package is right.
But for those looking for a sweet-cozy winter scent with a lot of wood and vanilla, and where the bottle is personally not relevant, they should definitely check out this fragrance :)

A sexy but versatile fragrance that oscillates between sweetness and smokiness - somewhat reminiscent of roasted almonds at the town fair.

Sexy vanilla entwines oud. At the fair, cotton candy is nibbled on, and on the cashmere blanket, the fireworks of passion are enjoyed.

This subtle sweetness makes this cashmere-smooth scent something truly special. Oud, amber, and vanilla blend with the skin.

Light vanilla-cotton candy Oud scent, with a fresh background from the amber. Clearly unisex. The best in the line.

Starts with a slight scratch like 5. by Rosendo Mateu and then transitions into Babycat by YSL. A very beautiful fragrance experience.
