No dangerous goods. Just a harmless little water
I very much doubt that this fragrance was intended to imitate the actual smell of kerosene, as was at least the case with Gasolin. Let's get that out of the way first. Kerosene, which we tend to think of as "dangerous", is actually the complete opposite of this fragrance of the same name: a delicate floral fragrance that doesn't want to harm anyone.
And here the fragrance notes are definitely the program: Salty skin? Abstract, but yes, you can definitely smell it. And how! Bitter orange peel? Yes, it almost blends with the salty skin. But it is definitely the jasmine that sets the tone here on a large scale.
The opening takes some getting used to, but the jasmine lingers a little longer than just in the top note. This fragrance definitely has a somewhat abstract DNA. I think it also has something of a candy wrapped in paper.
You can recognize the synthetics in it, which also go hand in hand with a citrusy and above all green freshness. However, this freshness is not "clean man-like" but rather... well, I don't know how to interpret it myself. Let's call it a typical "affordable" freshness of fragrances in the lower price category.
What would be its ideal occasion? On simple walks or when doing the weekly shop... Stories like that. Not to badmouth him or anything like that, but an expensive dinner date, or a visit to the opera... he's a long way from that.
As for the longevity and sillage: somewhat "milder" in contrast to the typical Rammstein fragrances, but at this price range you shouldn't have too high expectations. Some fragrances should be tested before they are bought. Kerosene is one of them.
