Jasmilla
Leisure-oriented high performer with a loud demeanor
Summer, partying, vacation - that's what this fragrance stands for to me.
In the opening there is spiciness and somehow ozone, which I really like and reminds me of a swimming pool. It must be ginger and aniseed in combination and aldehydes contribute something sweet when I look at the top notes. White flowers are quickly added, which I find pleasant. And then exciting things happen: Sometimes it slips totally into the powdery and over-the-top (I have Effie Trinkett - Tribute to Panem - in my head here) and sometimes it becomes almost medicinal and spicy, but without being serious in any way and with varying degrees of sweetness. Like at a gin tasting from round 6 onwards, where sometimes lemonade and sometimes ahoi-brause are drunk in between. But no matter where you go: it's always loud, it can't be quiet!
On vacation, I can still smell it clearly after two dives in the evening - after a spray early in the morning. In combination with water in the sense of going swimming or similar, it is great for me because it then becomes a little quieter and more sociable. What's more, the powderiness then stays in the background, which suits me very well. If it gets too powdery, I need a two-three week break before I can put it on again next time.
I also like it for concerts and parties or similar sweat-inducing social events, especially when I don't want to be olfactorily discreet and want to wear a fragrance that lasts a long time. I just don't see it in the office or in a "serious" context.
I attribute the different scent progressions to my skin chemistry in changing temperatures and conditions. My best friend says that it tends to be masculine on me. I perceive it completely differently myself. Basically, it is unisex for me and I would have assumed that it would be more preferred by female wearers.
If you also want an idea of what this fragrance would look like to me if it were visible, you can research works by Rupprecht Geiger. Some days it's pink on white, some days purple and sometimes blue and yellow are combined - but always in neon!
When I bought it three years ago, I was confused by the fact that it was no longer being produced, but there was a successor with the same name. I tested the "old" version in the bottle and the new bottled version against it. If I had to test blind, I would not be able to tell the difference between the two.
Conclusion: A sometimes a little over-excited good mood fragrance for the casual party environment when uncompromising performance is required.
