Milk Cream Eczema
“The Ritual of Jing” seems to be a gentle remaster of “The Ritual of Dao,” which I could never smell. Therefore, “Jing” started fresh and unused for me, ready to herald my entry into the Rituals travel package. Unfortunately, it was somewhat disappointing. Especially for such a bestseller and crowd favorite (under its old name)…
I often had to consider whether it might be due to my strange “skin chemistry,” lack of showers, or remnants of previously tested fragrances on that skin spot - but no, all three points were clearly checked off beforehand or in general. It’s more likely that I simply am not the “Jang” to this “Jing.” For me, “The Ritual of Jing” is a creamy-milky sandalwood scent that indeed possesses a delicious, serene, slightly rainforest-like, and meditative potential, yet on my skin, it radiates an unfavorably immature and unpleasant green sourness most of the time, which one could have absolutely done without. Maybe it’s just me; most people seem to like it quite a lot. Therefore, just a mild warning: perhaps not made for unrestricted blind purchases…
