In the Footsteps of a Chanel Classic.

Well, the presentation in the Rituals store is truly unique, I must say.
When I explained to the young woman what kind of scents I prefer, she immediately reached for this still very new fragrance... And without much thought, I bought it.
By the way, this is my first Rituals fragrance.
The first thing I thought... You know this scent direction... But where from?
Rituals calls it their new SPORT line.... For that, it’s actually a bit too warm, but okay.
At home, it hit me like a bolt of lightning.... Chanel Allure Homme... It reminds me exactly of that scent, it’s not a scent twin, but it goes in the same direction.
A tad fresher, with an additional oriental sweetness.
I really like it a lot.
Unfortunately, the sillage is problematic... The fragrance has a rather subtle projection, which I haven't experienced with any other scent so far.
You can smell it on your wrist... And wonder, where are you... And just a few minutes later, with a hand movement, an intense whiff of this fragrance hits your nose.
In my classification, the scent is Spicy/Woody.... Oriental/Fresh & Sweet.
Overall, the fragrance feels very high-quality to me... Luckily, I don’t perceive any synthetic notes.
The bottle intensely reminds me of EISENBERG... just as massive and noble... The spray head is amazing... It bears significant resemblance to the Dior Sauvage line.
It's worth testing.

Sun, Sea, Beach, and Vacation

When I smelled the fragrance for the first time, I thought I had to have it. I ordered the scent online shortly after and was thrilled. When I applied the perfume for the first time, I was even more excited. When I got into a friend's car, he asked me what fragrance I was wearing. I asked him what it smelled like, and he described it quite well... It's as if you've just returned fresh from vacation (with the emphasis on fresh); it's spicy, sweet, and fresh at the same time.
I would rate the projection and sillage as average. I would estimate the longevity at about 4 hours.

Because it is sweet and brings a certain freshness, it is perfect for summer.

I give it a recommendation to buy.

Spontaneous Purchase Away from the Usual Perfumeries

In my nearest small town, there is a Rituals shop located to the right at the entrance of one of the shopping galleries.
I often walked past it, even though I always told my wife how beautiful the presentation and decorations inside are.
Recently, we finally went inside and found the ambiance lovely, and the saleswoman approached us...
So we sampled the fragrances one by one. Not on paper strips as usual, but here they are sprayed under a glass funnel to capture the scent...
From the selection, we decided on this one to purchase in a small bottle.

In any case, it has a spicy fresh scent that is complemented by a light woody sweetness..
Pepper, sandalwood, and the citrus notes seem to stand out..
It’s definitely wearable, even if it’s not something unique.
But for a fair price, you get a nice fragrance...
The only downside is that the longevity and sillage are a bit lacking.
Otherwise, it's really okay..

A very beautiful scent with weaknesses

I was drawn to this perfume through my Rituals car fragrance.
Spicy, woody, with a certain freshness and a slight citrus note.
The scent DNA convinced me from the very beginning.
UNFORTUNATELY, the longevity and sillage are below average. I'm not a fan of being constantly noticed from 10 meters away, but I would like to at least perceive my perfume for a few hours. Unfortunately, this scent does not achieve that.

I usually only used rituals in the car as air fresheners.
During my last visit, I happened to walk past some small flacons that reminded me more of fragrance stick oil than perfume, but I was to be proven wrong.

In the end, I chose L´Essentiel, as it was my favorite of all the scents presented there.

I find it has a bit of a Zen quality.
It smells fresh and at the same time slightly bitter, sweet yet spicy, lightly citrusy, woody with an oriental note.
The overall impression is rounded off by just the right warmth in the scent.

This fragrance is Zen! All the ingredients are in perfect harmony with each other...
As so often happens when you encounter such a magnificent scent, the longevity and sillage are ultimately quite disappointing.
At this price, I simply expect it to last at least until noon... here, without refreshing it later, unfortunately no chance...

For a 2 to 3-hour date, a meeting, a family gathering, or a walk through a bustling city in summer with sunshine and light clothing, it is absolutely perfect; however, for anything more, it sadly lacks performance, but hey! A meditation session doesn't last longer either... So I remain in ZEN!

Lack of longevity and sillage aside, it is a fixed part of my collection, and I wouldn't want to miss it because it brings a smile to my face, grounds me on hectic days, and brings me back into harmony.
The little sweet flacon with the wooden cap actually solves the longevity issue all by itself...
Since it already has the perfect travel size (15ml), I always keep it in the car or in my better half's handbag. This way, I can effortlessly refresh the scent and feel... ZEN... all day long.

In general, I give a purchase recommendation based on my subjective opinion.
Objectively speaking, I would only recommend it if it is on sale, as it is indeed a bit too expensive for daily multiple sprays due to its low longevity.

For me, the better Dylan Blue, if it weren't for the longevity. Spicy, woody, citrusy, and fresh - simply awesome. Sillage/lasting power is unfortunately weak.
