Musky clouds, fresh white peaches
The current rating of 5.8 is baffling to me. This might not be the greatest scent ever, but in my opinion it's pretty nice and a step above some of Rituals' mainline perfumes. A solid choice for an everyday scent and not even particularly boring.
My main criticism is that the (lovely) room spray and shower foam from this line are better than the actual perfume. It's not even that they smell much different, it's just that this scent works better in those forms than as a personal fragrance. I also think if the perfume was a little more defined and refined, it would have been greater. It feels a bit diluted with a general "clean perfume note", if that makes sense to you.
As for the actual scent, it mostly smells like the notes list suggests: A soft, fluffy skin musk blended with juicy, sweet white peach. It matches the image of something cloudy and dreamy that this limited edition is trying to convey. Instead of tuberose, I get more of a vanillic touch here, which I like - it's warmer and cozier. The rum note is not completely unnoticeable, but it's subtle. Weirdly I get more of that in the shower foam, which is meant to smell like "blue daisy & amethyste", whatever that means.
In the end I'm better off with having this scent of a room spray instead of smelling it on myself, but I do like it.
