Sunny, but not too sweet

I've been using this since its previous name and just adore it. The sweet orange and cedarwood combo is fabulous and works so well as a summer scent.
I spent an intensely hot, humid summer in Italy one year and practically lived in this scent. It's not gourmand which I appreciate and continues Rituals brand of very spa-like scents.
Is it terribly complex? Nope. But it does what it says on the bottle and that works for me.

More Meditation

“The Ritual of Mehr” is a woody-sunny orangey scent that makes me shine and dream. A more esoteric “Declaration,” a Buddha made of Langnese ice.

With “Mehr,” you quickly want more. The simple structure and composition do not harm at all; on the contrary. The character and direction are clear right away, the fragrance is Feel Good through and through. Straightforward yet spontaneous enough. Open and unpretentious. A summer charmer with its heart in the right place. Laughing, living, having fun. And all of it completely natural, authentic, unforced. The cedarwood gives the juicy, almost overripe orange a unique, meditative, and self-assured, totally fulfilled and contagiously positive core competence. Surprisingly high quality on top of that. A ray of sunshine in liquid form and in the bottle. A good perfume. The world needs such scents more than ever!

Good Mood Fragrance

I am a big fan of Rituals shops, the atmosphere is harmonious and the scent is also unique. My first Rituals fragrance was the Happy Mist - Sweet Orange & Cedar from the Happy Buddha series.

Immediately after spraying, you notice the orange, fruity, natural, and cheerful it comes across, and after an hour, it is supported by cedar, which makes the scent slightly woody. After 2 hours, the fragrance becomes a bit rounder, but it also takes on a slightly soapy note that fades away quite quickly.

The longevity was fine for a body spray, for me it lasted about 5-6 hours, a bit longer on clothing.

I quite like the bottle, it is simple but still fits well with the fragrance and the cap is not too loose. The spray button releases quite a lot, so 2-3 sprays are completely sufficient.

I definitely do not get headaches from the scent, it is too subtle for that. (Although I rarely get headaches from fragrances, LVEB is an exception ;) )

Recommendation: I can really recommend the fragrance to everyone, even those who usually do not like citrus scents, as it smells more fruity-woody. Moreover, you can wear it in any weather, I wear it both in summer and winter as it is not too fresh.

Conclusion: A true good mood fragrance with fruity, slightly sweet orange and cedar. Longevity is fine for me, although the sillage is a bit weak. Definitely another great scent from Rituals! :)

Mood Lifter in February

Some people are more affected by dreary November weather (not me! I'm usually busy baking cookies and therefore well distracted)... my horror month, on the other hand, is February! Month of light? What good are longer days when everything is gray and dull? I need flowers, bright colors, fresh green! But that will take a little while...

That's where a little fragrance comes in just right! For Christmas, I received shower gel and body cream from a friend, and I liked the scent right away. So I got the body mist for a little money. Many people find citrus scents refreshing in summer heat, but oranges and mandarins are also among the most consumed fruits in winter. In any case, I almost automatically think of the winter months when I smell the peels. The cedar provides a unique woody counterbalance to the orange, but it also feels bright and friendly. Additionally, I imagine something slightly spicy - ginger and cardamom are not mentioned, but perhaps small amounts are included after all.

As expected, the longevity is not particularly long. But you definitely get a little "good mood kick" from this lovely scent! I completely agree with my predecessor Catfriend!

A True Sunshine

The body mist smells very spicy, orangey, and warm. However, not winter warm, but much more like a warmth that comes from the sun's rays. It reminds me of a warm summer evening. The price-performance ratio is great! It easily lasts 6 hours in the summer. Just summer, sun, sunscreen, and warm evening weather.
