Predator alarm clock
For a long time I have made a big bow around Cavalli fragrances, deterred by provocative design, which I found kitschy. Once tested a fragrance and was also not the bright enthusiasm until I recently but again became aware of some fragrances. It started with EdP Roberto Cavalli. What struck me was the interesting form of sillage, which is quite clearly perceivable, but still "within limits" . My curiosity was piqued and the bottle of Florence seduced me, I admit it! When I discovered some of my favorite notes inside it was all over me.... Granted, it smells artificial, but it's a sophisticated artificiality that doesn't annoy me because it's intelligent and has its purpose. The natural fragrances that are more appealing to me in concept usually have a very subtle sillage. Suited more₩ for relaxing at home than for the noisy and sometimes hectic big city. For this, I have been looking for suitable fragrances for quite some time that give me a good scent cloud without overwhelming me and the surroundings. And there are good scents with good sillage. But they are like boxers who can only punch in one direction. In the end they beat me to death if I don't discreetly dose them. And discreetly dosed they are again too quiet to create this cloud around you. Cavalli can do that! I feel like I'm in a diffused cocoon of scent and I'm fine with it, even with multiple sprays. There are often enough situations in the city where people get closer than one would like. Now in the pandemic especially become aware. One/woman wants a personal safe space. It's no coincidence that Cavalli has predator motifs in its design, including for the fragrances. They are fragrances that actually radiate something like: I won't hurt you for now, but if you get too close to me then make sure that you're as far away as possible as quickly as possible! The patterns are used for camouflage, but not to attract attention means better to be able to hunt. These scents move smoothly like graceful predators or aikido fighters. So just the thing for the urban jungle!!! I'm bumping into the predatory kitty in the bunny with Cavalli! Doesn't match my profile pic, I know. Claws out gotta be done sometimes though!

Rose liqueur and sweet patchouli smoking
Although the fragrances of this brand had disappointed me so far, I had to test this beautiful flacon again. That was already two years ago, but I still remember how a foggy, dense flower cloud of musk, vanilla and patchouli ate its way into my brain. An olfactory delicacy I always wanted to enjoy. Something about it hits and hits me right in the middle of my perfume heart. The flowers in it smell rather rose nectar-sweet, even if you sniff the bottle, it smells like rose. I find the floral note of the fragrance to be quite a high-quality blend (a look at the INCI list seems to confirm this). I wouldn't have thought of orange blossom, though. I've never been able to sniff orange tree blossoms before, but those are the notes that often make perfumes smell a bit old-fashioned? Which was often mixed with vanilla, like in swan Vanderbilt or in Aura (Mugler)?
Anyway, I liked it, but at that time it was still quite expensive and I wasn't sure with it, wanted to test durability, development and long-term sympathy first. So for now, I just took the shower gel. But this didn't convince me, because after showering on the skin almost only patchouli remains.
But since this perfume has been waiting for foster parents for a long time at a reduced price at Rossi Verwaist, I had used the opportunity several times to test it extensively. The top note with the flowers lasts quite long, in the hair forever -check. Sometimes after a night you have only Patchouli on your skin, but not always, and I have shot with Patchouli again a great friendship, so -check. It is conspicuous, a statement, by the patchouli slightly gothic, and has something of incense sticks, because the base is so foggy-smoky-tight everywhere...-check. It is now almost for a ridiculous price to have -check. And the bottle is noble anyway, even though the lid is made of plastic.
So now I have it and wear it for several days in a row, fits quite well into autumn now

Fruit honey gingerbread
Florence was given to me in 2018 for Valentine's Day. I didn't know the scent before, only the
Flacon of advertising brochures.

He doesn't get off that well here, but he's not that bad! And I wouldn't necessarily describe it as sweet-fruity, but rather as herb-fruity with slightly bitter sweetness.

When I wear Florence, thoughts of fruit gingerbread seasoned with honey come to mind. Gingerbread is a centuries-old sweet spit speciality, preferably eaten at Christmas time, but not only. It is also available in many variations with spices and fruits.
Florence just reminds me of which one with these small dried fruits indoors and tart honey.

Dark fruity currants followed by orange blossoms and grapefruit appear. All well mixed. The fragrance is wrapped in patchouli, the sweetness of which makes me think here of herbsweet fir and spruce honey.
Sweet is the fragrance already, but now not as sweet as many other new fragrances.
In winter it fits better for me and lasts longer than in summer. For me it's usually different that fragrances last longer in summer. But this is a winter scent for me. Of course, one should only dose it discreetly, so that it does not have a penetrating effect.

The bottle is really beautiful and I put it in the showcase "for beautiful flacons" when it is empty.

Fine Florence
The last Cavallis hadn't ripped me from my seat, so I tried Florence with caution and without much expectation, although the bottle is a real eye-catcher.

And I also look big, because the scent immediately takes me for itself.

In my mind I walk again through the elegant Florence in the shade of the orange trees.
Chic, racy Florentine women meet me and smile at me as I pass by.
Also the gentlemen nod to me, because I have bought a black dress with spaghetti straps in a boutique there.

I seem to be local, because a lady speaks to me in Italian in a friendly way, which flatters me.
In a trattoria, I treat myself to a glass of grapefruit juice and a currant ice-cream - and watch the Vespas rattle by.

Strange that the colourful hustle and bustle is not stressful at all.

The fragrance transports this atmosphere of calm and liveliness one to one.
Busyness and tranquillity go hand in hand here.

A very Italian scent that promises sunshine - but also provides pleasant shade.

It's an explosion of fruity notes with a very balanced acchord. But I was expecting a touch of iris, the flower-symbol of Florence.
