A Mediterranean landscape in a bottle
Are you hot, tired and stressed? well, just spray this scent and close your eyes : a good trip to a mediterranean isle is about to begin! Citruses and aromatic notes opens with freshness the acchord, then you can finally smell the Jasmine , which gives the very feminin touch to this scent. At the base, the warmer and resinous notes that complete this imaginary landscape. Particularly recommended in the hottest season.
The turquoise bottle, precious as the other ones of the line "Paradiso", is a little glass art masterpiece

The Azzuro is called blue....
Not only is it my favorite color, I'm already excited about the beautiful blue bottle, especially in the sunshine, how beautifully the light refracts in it...even you mermaids rhyme. Finally a "blue one" without any disturbing synthetics. The original DNA of Paradiso is only weakened, I loved it 6 years ago but on the last 10ml it made me nauseous, somehow a synthetic oily neroli or bergamot note...you don't know. Let's move on to my new blue "water": when I put it on, I feel like I'm walking on a path through a cypress grove in the shimmering heat to the next Greek bay. An herbaceous, spicy lemon, not that splish splash rinse. Lemon with herbs in cold, clear water. Even a unisex candidate for me, jasmine in DD with woods .... Honestly, I'm currently reducing my already small collection and think .... I don't need more for my Greek summer (with the exception of the one and only The Muse .... and she lived happily ever after on "her" Greek island. Kalinychta.

Blind date and love at first sight
A blind swap is to the perfumo what a blind date is to the average person. A little excitement, a little thrill... Is there a spark or can you not smell each other?
Paradiso Azzurro also came into my hands via such an exchange request. The fragrance was unknown to me, the pyramid did not contain anything that was completely not to my taste... What the heck, let's try it! If need be, it will move on.

... But he won't do that! It can stay! I think this really is my chance find of the summer! Even if the bottle is a bit kitschy and pretentious, it's a wonderfully aquatic, fresh summer fragrance without the dreaded men's sports shower gel vibes.

The fragrance starts with a slightly herbaceous bergamot, luckily I don't smell any lemon but also no explicit lavender. Too bad - I'm on a bit of a lavender kick at the moment and would have liked to see it more clearly here. We are definitely in warm climes, the sea is not far away but it is still pleasantly warm and a light breeze is blowing. The sky is baby blue.
And then the jasmine! Is it salty or aquatic jasmine? It doesn't matter! It is not restrained, has depth but remains fresh and does not become headache-sweet-floral. It doesn't overwhelm but is still very present. The spicy-woody base goes wonderfully with it! Paradiso Azzurro creates a Mediterranean feeling for me, which is unfortunately drowned out by an annoying sunscreen note in the eponymous French Riviera. You like Pacific Drive but it's a little too masculine for you? Try the blue wonder here!

It's listed as a women's fragrance here, but if you're not averse to jasmine, I'd give it a try anyway. Without the musk and sweet notes, I think it's actually quite good for both sides.

What's more, my chance find has very good longevity, be careful with the dosage, less is more and is enough! And all at an affordable price - it works! I can even forgive the blingbling cap.

All outward appearances aside...
If this perfume had been launched this year: I would have left it on the shelf. The whole outfit is miles away from my booty pattern. The flask of bling-bling in turquoise-gold. Well, the turquoise is nice. Roberto Cavalli was never my taste before. And the name "Paradiso azzurro" rather hinted at aquatic or fruity-sweet.

All in all, not a candidate this summer for the corona-related rapid test (quickly slide the test strip under the mask) or blind purchase.

But it felt like eternities ago that you could get clever advice in the perfumery - with a big scent sample. So I simply let myself be convinced of his inner qualities.

"Paradiso azzurro" is a pleasant summer scent for the not so hot days: a little fresh citrus at the beginning, then jasmine and wood take over. The jasmine is not really heavy, but soft and sluggish
If it is supposed to be a paradise, then it should be a Mediterranean one. I could imagine summer holidays in Tuscany like this - although I have never been there before. Azzurro is then also heaven at most. No sea breeze in sight.

The fragrance is not close to the body, but it remains discreet. However, I do not perceive it any more relatively quickly. Overall the impression is rather casual and has nothing to do with the golden bling-bling presentation.

Even if "Paradiso Azzurro" will certainly not be my signature, this year I like it. Maybe because it suits home office and wanderlust better than meetings.
