Marriage is all about sharing!
My wife and I share many things, including some of my fragrances.
In our marriage, sharing means: I buy something for myself, my wife likes it too and the object - whatever it is - becomes shared.
I blindly bought the feminine Secret de Rochas Oud Mystère, supported by the low price, the notes used and the certainty that it was a unisex fragrance. I bought it for myself (since my name is Carlos it is easy to infer my gender) and I still think this fragrance is a unisex one. And I'm glad I bought it.
The House of Dior has created a reference for this type of oriental fragrance. It's Oud Ispahan and it undoubtedly shares a mood with Secret de Rochas Oud Mystère. The oud rose saffron accord that dominates this fragrance is fabulous. My global take on this is a remarkably mysterious fragrance with a distinctive note of laudanum resin that enhances its luscious main accord. Oud Mystère does it far better than most and gracefully tapers to an acceptable masculine wood chord. A very nice piece of work.
Yes, I have to share this scent with my wife. I still haven't decided whether I like it better for my personal use or whether I can just leave it in your closet. It's sexy as hell! The 100 ml disappeared in a couple of weeks. Will i buy it again i'm not sure but if i don't my wife will!
I just want to quote one opinion from a review I read:
"Seductive, mysterious, sultry, woody, oriental and all in all beautiful!"
My average rating? 8.25 / 10.00
