Deep,deep down in my soul
How long have I been sitting here looking at this pond I don't know? It must be getting late. It's dawn. The air becomes cool, fresh and citric around me. The silence comes with soft mist and with it the thoughts of you. Why are you always so close to me when you are not with me? What could it be? It is the lotus that swims on the pond! The blue lotus that has the color of your eyes. Wide open the flowers look at me like a view from you, it seems to me. They look deep inside me. Tender, pure and powdery-creamy is her scent. How I would love to lie down in a blossom and absorb its scent. Like a deep look in your eyes equals. Stay on it until night comes and it curls up as if for sleep and embraces me with its blue, delicate leaves like a gentle embrace. Just like only you can! Protected deep inside, they are slowly drawn under the surface of the water. Hours to linger there in soft-powdery, filigree purity and simplicity until the morning dawns and we rise to the surface again and the lotus opens in the morning mist over the pond. Surrounded by the crystal clear scent of patchouli woods and gently smoky grasses. Yes, you're like the lotus and its fragrance! Pure, gentle, innocent and meek. When You are with me, everything bad about me rolls off like tears or drops of water on a lotus leaf in the wind. Now I know why I always look at the pond here. In every blossom there is a part of you. Deepest longing embraces me here and peace. And if one day the blue eyes of the lotus should no longer open for me and remain closed forever, mine certainly will too. But we're not thinking about that yet,...not yet!
