A rose is......not always a rose.......
Rose scents are not my cup of tea.....it is solely thanks to the persuasive power of the very competent Gesa Hotzen of Santa Maria Novella Munich that I have tested this scent at all....
"You do not like roses.. Then this is the perfect rose scent for you...! A completely new interpretation of this fragrance ..."
And how right she was...! The combination rose+citrus fruits results in something very unusual and unique.......the acidity of the citrus fruits takes away the weight and turgidity of the rose.....and lets it shine almost fruity and fresh.....as if there was such a thing as a "rose fruit".......this surprising and beautiful first impression is underlined by a soft blossom breeze.......really only a touch.......
Very soon a fine herbal note is added........no pizza oregano and also no sharp-biting T-bone steak pepper.......the herbs rather trickle over the event with a discreet spice, which gives the scent an extremely noble impression.......I spontaneously think of the image of an elegantly dressed racy Milanese woman, who masters the game of seduction just as well as the trade with shares......
The fragrance closes with an incredibly beautiful and warm soft mossy base.....
All in all it is a very subtle fragrance......understated and with remarkable class......it smells to me like dignified serenity and perfect femininity.....
