When the roses bloom in Florence...
... then it probably smells like Rosa Gardenia.
I was magically drawn to the window of the boutique... and then the store when I entered! Just like in a fairy tale, worth a visit whether you find what you're looking for or not.
With the help of the sales clerk, I tried out various fragrances... all quite beautiful and special. But somehow nothing that put a smile on my face (except the special editions in their beautiful bottles, nestled in a romantic book perfume box! What an experience for the eyes & nose)
i also loved Tabacco Toscano Eau de Cologne, but unfortunately my boyfriend vehemently vetoed it - at least it's in the sample kit:)
Then came Rosa Gardenia! And yes, I was hooked! I smiled when I smelled the fragrance for the first time and even half an hour later, just before I took it with me there...
THE FRAGRANCE:
Is sweet. Synthetic at the beginning. But somehow it immediately captures the "princess" feeling that the boutique gives me all the time.
Romantic, sweet, young... all through the dreamy rose-colored glasses.
Over time, it develops into the absolute most beautiful floral fragrance... a sea of flowers and roses. The synthetics fade away and what remains are natural flowers. Without being overpowering. Romantic, feminine, noble.
One of my favorite Diptyque candles is "Geranium Rosa"... the candle is even more floral-fresh without the light powdery sweetness that remains in the perfume. The base notes come in the drydown. Always accompanied by a hint of roses. The longevity is really okay! I smell it from time to time throughout the day. People around me have spoken positively about the fragrance several times.
The fragrance is unisex for me 0.0. It's a women's fragrance for my nose
( and also for the noses in my environment;) )
I own Delina Exclusif, Rosa Gardenia is - for me(!) the perfect addition to my collection
(You can't compare the 2 fragrances!, but they are for rose fans), Rosa Gardenia is lighter, a bit synthetic, powdery, floral... i just love it! It can't compete with Delina Exclusif in terms of complexity, but it doesn't have to, considering the price range of the two fragrances.
I see it as a light fragrance for spring and summer.
The bath gel that matches the perfume is on the list as a Christmas wish.
I don't know if my opinion is objective, but the visit to the boutique was a full-circle moment including butterflies in my stomach... a great city, a beautiful shop window and boutique, great service, emotions that the fragrance aroused in me when I first smelled it... i revive all these emotions and now also Florence memories when I wear Rosa Gardenia.
