Rotting Rose
When first sprayed it has an almost vegetal beet note at the start, only slightly balanced with a more stinging rose. Once it sits on the skin a bit the rose becomes more apparent, which I like. But it's hard not to constantly smell that earthy green base I really don't like, maybe the funk of the oud with the plant matter of iris? Reminiscent of a salad gone bad in the back of the fridge.

The "Iron Rose" in the Dark Forest.
"Unbelievable!!" would my American brother-in-law exclaim if he smelled this fragrance. "Unbelievable!!!...!!" while clapping his hands and spinning around twice in both directions.
Yes, this scent is indeed almost "incredible" in terms of its intensity and longevity. During my first testing, I must have sprayed a bit too much, unaware of the wave of metallic-scented roses and the darkest oud notes that were coming my way! In the first hour, it was so dominant that I kept my sprayed wrist as far away as possible.
Only then did it become "bearable," and I could finally recognize the actually beautiful fragrance notes in detail. Reddest "Iron Roses" as they might be attached as decoration on a wrought-iron gate, painted with fine lacquer.
Behind this artisanally crafted "Rose Gate," a true "Dark Forest" awaits me, woods that seem to exude the darkest resins. With a slightly powdery "after-scent" of charcoal soot. As if one were just lighting dry charcoal and the resinous smoke was rising to the nose.
Later on, I can detect a fine floral and ethereal "blue note" that lays over everything like delicate gossamer. And it is no longer completely overshadowed by the still prominent "Iron Roses" and the "Dark Forest." There is also a softer hint of amber lying beneath it all. The passion fruit hardly makes an appearance for me.
This fragrance requires a lot of "finesse" when spraying and a bit of patience. Then it develops no longer as "unbelievable-incredible" as at first. But rather somewhat tamed and better "recognizable." For fans of dark and cool wood (oud) rose fragrances!!

Rose-Oud-Fruit Mash
I like the combination of "Rose-Oud." Scents with rose and oud are very trendy right now; almost every fragrance house has such a scent in their lineup. Everyone is trying to give this blend a slightly unique, distinctive note. Sometimes it works better, sometimes less so. Here, it somehow didn't work out so well!

As Seerose already described, Flaming Red rushes into your nose with incredible speed - however, the rose is not recognizable to me as a rose, but rather has a very fruity-sweet quality. It reminds me a lot of mashed dried fruits, a bit sour, but the acidity doesn't have a fruity-fresh quality; instead, it feels more like the acidity from something that is just about to go off. Oud is clearly present, but it threatens to slide into a rather human quality, that brumply-sweaty aspect keeps bubbling up (and the sourness of the passion fruit is not a positive enhancement here!). Only gradually does the fruit mash recede, and the whole thing becomes recognizable as a rose-oud scent. Now, Flaming Red can certainly be called nice, at least until the oud takes over again. The amber doesn’t save it, I can’t detect any vanilla, and the mentioned iris I consider to be a rumor ;-).

I understand what they were trying to achieve with the addition of passion fruit to the beautiful rose-oud combo, but unfortunately, it just didn’t work for me at all!

The longevity is gigantic; even after 24 hours, I can still clearly perceive the red flame on my arm!

Flame without Smoke
Rose-oud fragrances always interest me. When it comes to these two ingredients, "White Collection - Flaming Red" does not hold back. But the how is crucial.
Just a small spray and immediately a hot, piercing metallic-sweaty note shoots up into my nose. But it also immediately throws a flaming-synthetic rose scent into the room. On one hand, I don't find the opening of "White Collection - Flaming Red" bad because laotian oud and rose are promised. They are immediately present. My experience with laotian oud is that it can sometimes smell a bit animalistic at the beginning, so one must wait and see. However, on my skin, a distinct cheesy foot note develops. Or maybe a bit like ripe Romadur or Limburger.
But while I tidy up and my nose prefers to stay away from my wrist after several sniffs, I notice that there are no cheesy smells around me.
Not that I am now captivated and delighted by "White Collection - Flaming Red," it still seems too metallic and synthetic to me, the animalistic note appears too artificially intended.
However, after 30 minutes, it has reduced on my skin to a slightly sweaty, bearable strength with an intense sillage. And so "White Collection - Flaming Red" lingers for a longer time. I can't detect the other mentioned notes. Gradually, "White Collection - Flaming Red" becomes milder, I even smell a slight wood note as the sweaty scent recedes and is only somewhat delicately perceptible - always close to the skin. In the room, it remains a metallic rose scent.
Now I like "White Collection - Flaming Red" better, even though I won't add it to my wish list. Why not, I wonder? I like metallic notes. I know that with oud fragrances, one must have patience; they need time to develop. I don't really care if it is a synthetic oud. The artificially scented rose also develops creamier and more subdued and natural on my skin, but it remains with the lush Bulgarian rose note. For example, I like "Lithium" by Nube, which is much more subdued than "White Collection - Flaming Red."
I miss something in "White Collection - Flaming Red." On one hand, "White Collection - Flaming Red" could smell a bit woodier. On the other hand, I miss the smoke to the flame. Although that might be intentional, as then a leather note could develop lightly with the iris. I wouldn't appreciate that very much.
Conclusion: "White Collection - Flaming Red" is a typical "Santi Burgas" scent. However, "White Collection - Flaming Red" is neither innovative nor experimental anymore.
Unisex? My answer to that: How should I know?

Greasy orris meets tangy maracuja, waxy rose.
An earthy, musty undertone; smells like decay.
This could be the most depressing floral scent.

A big NO! It hurts my nose. Like the cheap bulgarian rose oil from '80. Brrrr

Well executed rose-oud with bumped up rose oxide and a clear, yet inoffensive earthy component. Very smooth in comparison to most others.

Super-animalic oud with rose soap and rotten fruit. Sillage to the ceiling and lasts like glue. So disgusting that I'm at a loss for words.

Wow, it really hits you! 10 sec of lovely rose, 30 sec of intense oud, then a harmonious trio with passion fruit. For powerful people.

Fecal smell with rose. Unbearable. I've rarely smelled such a "distinctive" oud. It reinforces my aversion to oud.

In the iron foundry, the worker wears rose,

takes a sip of fruit water to cool down.

Extremely fascinating scent, completely underrated here. Rose-Oud at its finest with a brilliant passion fruit note. Very beautiful.

A typical rose-oud scent. Only a bit of amber in the base adds a surprise. Eutopie No 2 is still the benchmark for me.

Biting sweat-oud-metal, intensely developing into a stinky cheese-foot note + fat rose. It slightly softens with wood, No!!!
