Pastel Rumours
Pastel Rumours feels like a twin to Peach's Revenge, but without the artificial tartness from the guava. It’s a creamier, slightly lactonic version of Peach's Revenge—almost like something you’d expect from a Bath & Body Works candle. The peach note here definitely leans artificial, and while it’s not unpleasant, it could be headache-inducing if you overspray. That said, the sillage would probably smell nice to those around you.
I’m not sure I’d pay full retail for this. As it dries down, it starts to smell more generic and noticeably synthetic. I actually wish the slightly tart, sour guava note from Peach’s Revenge carried over into this one—it would’ve added some much-needed balance and kept it more interesting.
If you’re deciding between Pastel Rumours and Peach’s Revenge, go with Pastel Rumours if you want a more gourmand, creamy, vanillic, and sugary peach scent. The sweetness here is just on the edge—any more and it’d lean too far into body spray territory, though it already comes close.
Read my Peach’s Revenge review for a full comparison, but in short: if you prefer a sweet, creamy peach, go for Pastel Rumours. If you’re after a fruitier, slightly tart, candied peach, Peach’s Revenge is the better pick.
Rococo Pie also smells very similar to this one that it feels redundant. It opens different due to the tangerine note which makes it feel kind of like a creamsicle but that tangerine note fades and you're left with a base that smells similar.
