A well-named scent. I am in the camp of perfumeheads that finds this a lighter, more airy version of the elegant First. One could say it is the free-spirited yet well-mannered daughter of the Lady First. As much as I adore my vintage bottle of First, I have always found it difficult to carry it off. I do not have this problem with Un Air de First, with its brilliant sunny character of aldehydes and the gorgeous bitter galbanum that pairs beautifully with the tiny white flowers. For me it is a breath of fresh air in my heavy Oriental and gourmand populated perfume collection. Sillage and longevity are excellent for Un Air de First. Feminine without the posy of roses, sophisticated without being unreachable, fresh and sparkling without being an aquatic.

Blissfull Serenity
Ohh Serenity . Peace of mind .Touched by an angel.Lifted to higher plaises . All this words and states can sum up this wonderfull smell of this scent.
It is such a calming gental floral mix . On me there is no screaching notes what so ever, its almost like a second skin to me . Roses the lightest pink you can imagin with a gental smell. Jasmin like a gental powder. Aldehyds like a luminous ray of light just when you nead it the most, Vanilla a gental puf only not to sweet , just a powdery sweetnes . Lilly of the valley gental and soft fresh from the forest. Just tiny wiff of peach and fruit. Galbanum vetiver . currant buds makes it slightly green . Infact n my skin its not that green at all. Maybe my skin does not devolpe that note to much . Or it might be that green ha a different feal to me
All i know is that i have truly found a beautiful Gem in this perfume . I initialy was affraid of the Aldehyds and green note , but they are not to much at all.. Im so happy i took the time to ask about it and got so many good reviews and guidens about it. thanks also for the lovely sample i got to try before buying :)
Im very greatfull and in a state of Bliss wearing this
This perfume reminds me sligthly of Chanel NO5 Premier , not much but a little bit. Also Vivienne Westwoods Naughty Alice comes to mind at some stage.
Love them bout so this is a 10 out of 10

The Summer Dress Scent…
It’s a bit crazy, but when I smell Un Air de First, I think of a summer dress I once owned. It was a halter-neck dress in the 50s style, with a fitted waist and a flared knee-length skirt. The material was a fine, white blend of cotton and silk (hard to iron…), cheerfully embroidered with colorful butterflies. I don’t often wear skirts and dresses, finding pants more straightforward and comfortable. Perhaps this is why the dress was so well-received by my male colleagues, as I was known to be in pants 90% of the time. In any case, I received endless compliments. Mr. Pluto also loved this dress, but it has long since gone to the charity collection; I no longer fit into a size 34. :o(

As summery and cheerful as this dress was, so is Un Air de First. The scent starts with airy aldehydes that intensely support the green and slightly bitter resinous note of galbanum. A few minutes later, the galbanum is accompanied by rose and jasmine - and to my nose, also by a few other flowers; I think I even catch a glimpse of a little lily of the valley now and then. The scent lingers for several hours, becoming softly creamy and just slightly sweet, with musk rounding it off. This fragrance is the epitome of a spring and summer scent. Light green, floral, fresh, and transparent, yet still perceivable and well-lasting, fitting for a fresh morning with a dew-kissed flower meadow, where butterflies merrily flutter about in search of nectar. And equally suitable for a warm, sultry summer night. The bottle is a dream, but in the 100 ml size, it’s difficult to spray one-handed; I can hardly manage it.

Oh yes, the scent also brings compliments - though not as many as for the dress back then.

A Touch of First or "Turning Old into Young"
The classic "First" was never my thing; it seems a bit dusty and old-fashioned to my nose.
I was all the more curious about the new release, which, as I have read in various places, is supposed to be a refreshment of the original.

Today, I finally managed to get a sample, as a perfumery near me kindly fills travel atomizers for a small fee.

In the meantime, the scent is developing wonderfully on my arm, initially quite powdery, but then it becomes increasingly fruity-floral.
I could swear I smell apple, yet it is not actually included.
I can detect jasmine, very delicate and subtle, and the lily of the valley sways lightly in the spring breeze.
After a few hours, the fragrance gently fades with vanilla and becomes very soft.

Yes, I must say, I am very taken with this scent.
It is like a delicate veil, present but not overpowering, elegant and very feminine.
I can imagine that this scent could never be too much for me, as it is not a "punch," but rather something like a chiffon scarf that you hardly feel around your neck.

In my opinion, it is a fragrance that both young and not-so-young ladies can wear.
It suits both a floral dress and a little suit.
It's just a pity that it wasn't launched in spring, as it fits wonderfully into the slightly warmer season.

Flower Fairy
Delicate and fragile, she appears. Filigree. Graceful. Pale. A semi-transparent dress made of chiffon envelops her figure. Its gradient from soft yellow to white makes her seem even more ethereal, and she is almost one with the morning sunshine. Her complexion is porcelain-like and even, her hair golden, waist-length, and curly. Individual strands can’t quite be tamed by the flower crown she wears and gently frame her face. One could almost overlook the small, almost transparent but slightly shimmering wings, with a hint of rainbow colors, that gracefully arch away from her back. With the lightness of nothing, the tiny figure can be carried through the air. The morning breeze, delicate and fresh with a hint of green, caresses the little being, who drifts dreamily with closed eyes or occasionally lets herself be lifted playfully by a thermal, giggling softly. Letting go and gliding back down to earth in the wind is accompanied by a joyful, elongated scream that expresses exuberance and zest for life.
It is once again a typical morning. A sunny, warm morning, where the flower fairy flits above the grass and flowers in a forest clearing.
An image that inevitably comes to mind when I catch a whiff of "Un Air de First." Almost kitschy harmony and romance. The most floral aromas in the brightest, purest veils. A flawless little world, breathtakingly beautiful and almost too good to be true. Yet it truly exists. When you gently press the spray button. Because then a rather strong whiff of galbanum on airy aldehydes extends its hand and invites you to dance on air and scent. The first breath settles after a few moments, and UAdF enters the summery romance with a beautiful rose and wonderfully harmonizing jasmine with the depth of an absolute. At this point, the impression of a dream arises for me. Everything is so impeccable, flawless, and pure. Even the soft musk note and a hint of vetiver in no way alter my image. Everything is just as it should be and where it should be. Nothing disturbs, no too little, no too much. Simply perfection. Symbiosis in the form of fragrance. Every aroma loves the other. Each benefits from the other. Each lives through the other.
No wonder that my "predecessors" have already succumbed to the magic of this scent and associate their own personal connections with it. In my opinion, the color choice of the bottle is absolutely spot on and reflects the lightness, transparency, cleanliness, and gracefulness of the fragrance. Yet despite these "light" terms, the scent is not only light but radiates throughout the day with a consistently lingering note. It is lighter than the "Ur-First," significantly less classically influenced but still timelessly elegant, albeit in a more playful manner. As the colors and aromas suggest, it is certainly a candidate when spring feelings awaken or at least to stir them. In summer, it will shine even brighter due to the temperatures, and in autumn, it allows the beautiful moments of before to fade nostalgically. For those like me who are not the best friends of winter, it is of course also nice to occasionally bring a breeze of spring into the gray and look forward to what is to come. But the fragrance will truly come alive when warmth enters the picture.
When I wear "Un Air de First," I feel different than usual. It uplifts, exudes charm and joy, and switches the colors from dark to light. I feel well-groomed and in harmony.
With it, I can envision the tiny flower fairy and how she flits about in nature. And sometimes, I feel that I too become a little flower fairy.

Fresh, light green floral scent with "wearable" jasmine. Friendly with a delicate creamy note. For women of all ages.

First green-fresh, then soft, floral, powdery like cream. A beautiful, harmonious scent for spring and summer days. Evaporates in the bottle!

If you don't like "Ur-First," you should give this bright, charming cousin a try. He belongs to the family but is much more carefree.

A slightly harsher start with aldehydes & galbanum, then soft & cuddly, like cream-colored cashmere. A powdery-fresh spring dream!
