Drowning in a sea of bright, white, thick and indolic white flowers
I'm thinking that maybe tuberose isn't my favorite flower, nor one I want to smell on me. The scent starts out quite strong with a mix of powdery, green, white, indolic flowers. It's thick and overwhelming to my nose. The accords clash and the smell reminded me of synthetic putty or something in the same vein. There's a facet of green and sweetness that comes out, probably due to the pear. It adds a fruity aspect to the perfume that is nice, but not enough to temper down the tuberose aspect. The green pear ends up blending in with the powderiness of the perfume. Ginger does make an appearance, but I felt like its spiciness clashed with the overall vibe of the tuberoses. It ends up turning warm on my skin like the tuberose being warmed by rays of sunshine. Floral indolic and fruity accords remain up until the end.
I don,t think this perfume is meant for me and I'm sad I couldn't smell the ginger tea. It does have nice longevity and sillage, but the powderiness and concentration of white flowers in it makes it a bit repulsive to my nose. It won't be an addition to my collection unfortunately.
