Very nice inspiring blend
The latest release from Aromas de Salazar is the limited edition Dia De Los Muertos, inspired by the upcoming holiday of the same name, a spicy, fruity, floral, resinous blend that’s sweet but not too sweet. It’s a really interesting intersection of notes and feels well put-together and while it vaguely reminds me of other similarly inspired fragrances (for example D.S. & Durga’s limited edition Bruja de la Rosa), it’s really quite unique in terms of its composition and structure, not emphasizing any aspect too greatly but rather coming off like a true blend. It’s a bit transporting, particularly with the crossover between the flowers and incense, conjuring an outdoor, living experience.
Dia de los Muertos is priced at $225 for 50ml, on the higher end of the catalogue’s current range of pricing.
