Too High Expectations…
How much I was looking forward to finally adding this scent to my collection and how much I now want to get rid of it…
For me, Candy Bite starts off very alcoholic. Somehow I perceive something hoppy or malty… well, okay, let's wait a bit, maybe the off note will fade away… but no, it stays the whole time…
I smell something sugary here, slightly underlaid with pear and then beer.
So if you want to smell like a pear-infused alt beer punch, you have found your scent here.
Apparently, there is supposed to be a similarity to Vanilla Candy Rock Sugar, but unfortunately, I don't smell any of that…
Fortunately, the beer shower doesn't last long, it really dissipates quickly.
If you are looking for a good alternative to VCRS, then you should rather go for Khair Confection from Paris Corner. There you at least get the full dose of juicy and sugary pear, without it being dipped in beer.
