Full caramel broadside
"Has anyone here brought caramel popcorn?"
"You smell a bit like a slightly burnt vanilla cookie, but delicious"

These were the comments I received in the office in response to Vanilla Latte.

Since I picked up this treasure, it has become one of my favorites and I have rediscovered my sweet (fragrance) side.

Alternatives to Bianco Latte now seem to be a dime a dozen. I've only smelled BL once so far. As an alternative, I opted for the Vanilla Latte and I don't regret it for a second. In general, Gulf Orchid has not disappointed me so far, especially in terms of durability and sillage.

You really get the full caramel broadside here. But not as soft, milky and creamy as the Bianco Latte. No, this one packs a punch. The caramel is buttery, sugary, slightly burnt and thick.

I'm a big fan of the butter and licorice notes, both of which I can perceive for a very long time. These, combined with the amber and musk, definitely make it a unisex fragrance for me. I would say 60% feminine and 40% masculine.

A really successful fragrance. I want to lick my hand because you could think it's really caramel on it. Anyone who loves very sweet, strong gourmands will get their money's worth here. For me, the fragrance can be worn almost all year round. On a summer vacation on the beach at 35 degrees, I might not see myself wearing it, but otherwise: sweet always works!

Like a hug when no one asks if you need one
Sometimes I'm not looking for a new fragrance. I'm looking for security. And that's exactly what Vanilla Latte feels like.

Like a quiet sanctuary. From the very first spray, this milky vanilla note envelops me, warm and soft like the first sip of a sweet coffee on a gray morning. Not a bitter stimulant, not an overdose of sugar, but something gentle and calming.

It reminds me of home. Of soft blankets, of a gentle voice that says: "All is well." Of the feeling of not having to be strong for a moment.

The floral notes shimmer like a smile in the background, and in the end this gentle echo remains, like skin that still smells of warmth.

It is not a fragrance for big performances. It is a fragrance for small escapes. For the quiet moments between thoughts. For you...

And another, but awesome Bianco Latte Dupe
The Bianco Latte Dupes are springing up like mushrooms.
The Vanilla Latte is now the fourth alternative I've tested.
And after the Noor, it's my second favorite alternative, although both are almost equally good.

Vanilla Latte starts off caramel-sweet, lactonic, slightly buttery, simply gorgeous From the very first spray, you know where the journey is going.
I already knew it was a BL dupe, but I thought it might take a while to smell it out.
But that wasn't the case, I smelled Bianco Latte straight away, without any synthetics like the Eclaire and I loved it.

In the DD it remains quite lactonic although there is no trace of milk in the fragrance pyramid.
Lots of vanilla, caramel and a very subtle honey note in the background.
The lactonic note may come from the butter, it's hard to say.

What ultimately remains is a fantastically sweet fragrance that is reminiscent of Bianco Latte right to the end.
And the best thing is that you can get it for just over 20 euros, if it's not sold out.

Performance similar to the Eclaire I would say, in my opinion it radiates slightly less, but as I said it is less synthetic, so it fits.

Unisex, yes, but it's already going feminine (W65%/35%M).

My conclusion: when it comes to Bianco Latte dupes, I would still recommend Noor.
If you can't find it, or if it's too expensive, then the Vanilla Latte is almost as good.
But you can't really go wrong with the Eclaire either, it's just the slight synthetic quality that can be annoying, so I would definitely recommend buying the Vanilla Latte

I am such an Eclaire victim...
... And every time a new alternative came along, I bought it too. Just to find out if there was something better than Eclaire after all.

Tiramisu Caramel, Eclaire Affair, Cream Velvet, Vanilla Voyage. They were all here. And somehow they were rarely allowed to stay, because Lattafa Eclaire was unbeatable for me.

No question, they were all beautiful. But somehow their sillage and longevity were often not as convincing or their notes not quite as beautiful as my beloved Eclaire.

Then came Vanille Latte. I ordered it out of curiosity but without any expectations because of the pretty bottle. It was so strong at first, it tickled my nose. But it was mega. It reminded me most of Vanilla Voyage (probably because Maison Asrar and Gulf Orchid seem to belong together somehow), but it was too subtle for me. Vanilla Latte is much stronger than Vanilla Voyage. It is denser, richer and more vanilla than Eclaire, which is lighter for me and has a waffle note.

I often hear that people find something off-putting about Eclaire. It could be that they like this one better. And if you're a gourmand aunt like me: this one is a feast!
