Full caramel broadside
"Has anyone here brought caramel popcorn?"
"You smell a bit like a slightly burnt vanilla cookie, but delicious"
These were the comments I received in the office in response to Vanilla Latte.
Since I picked up this treasure, it has become one of my favorites and I have rediscovered my sweet (fragrance) side.
Alternatives to Bianco Latte now seem to be a dime a dozen. I've only smelled BL once so far. As an alternative, I opted for the Vanilla Latte and I don't regret it for a second. In general, Gulf Orchid has not disappointed me so far, especially in terms of durability and sillage.
You really get the full caramel broadside here. But not as soft, milky and creamy as the Bianco Latte. No, this one packs a punch. The caramel is buttery, sugary, slightly burnt and thick.
I'm a big fan of the butter and licorice notes, both of which I can perceive for a very long time. These, combined with the amber and musk, definitely make it a unisex fragrance for me. I would say 60% feminine and 40% masculine.
A really successful fragrance. I want to lick my hand because you could think it's really caramel on it. Anyone who loves very sweet, strong gourmands will get their money's worth here. For me, the fragrance can be worn almost all year round. On a summer vacation on the beach at 35 degrees, I might not see myself wearing it, but otherwise: sweet always works!
