Perfection Gulf Orchid

I am sitting here at work and just admiring the scent this is. And I can't help myself to think... what really happened when they made this. Was this just poor planning or just pure natural changes in the materials. This is one of those perfumes that if it was just a little bit stronger it would be maybe one of the best clones out there. It would be overhyped into oblivion and would be on most people's wardrobe on the top shelf.

But, it just fails, with the performance to be that. The scent is pure class and worth more then some designers but it is to lightweight.

It acts like a EDT at best and it feels you need to re apply. But you don't as the drydown is even better than the first part of the fragrance.

What a pity this is. Well it still something to enjoy even if the performance is below average.

A brief note beforehand: I am not familiar with the OG.

The Perfection was delivered over the weekend, was tested twice in the evenings, and worn today.

I’ll start with the negative point.
It is rather short-lived. The intensity is not strong, which makes it well-suited for the office (which is not generally a negative thing), but after a short time it is no longer perceptible except directly on the skin. After 5 h it is more or less gone.

Its character is a positive point.
Anyone who likes Le Mâle Eau de Toilette will like this one too. It smells familiar. Lavender and citrus are nothing special and work quite well in combination with a light marine note. What is particularly notable here, compared to Le Mâle Eau de Toilette, is the green aspect. A foundation reminiscent of forests and herbs. Not much, but enough to make it more interesting. I do not find it truly floral, and I mean that without assigning any value to it.

It develops very linearly. A little fresher and more sparkling at the beginning, then becoming somewhat greener, but there are no surprises.

If you are looking for a good fragrance for everyday wear, the office, sports, or leisure, you should give this one a try. If you know Le Mâle Eau de Toilette or a corresponding clone, the 15 -20 € are worth the blind buy. If you do not know this DNA, you should test it beforehand, because my wife, for example, does not like this DNA.

Perfection by Gulf Orchid is a really great and especially very affordable alternative to Reflection Man by Amouage.
It is truly a hit in terms of price-performance ratio.
You have this elegantly fresh theme with a certain spiciness and these wonderful floral nuances.

The scent definitely starts off beautifully fresh, slightly citrusy, and immediately has a subtle spiciness.
I find that the fragrance also develops a noticeably peppery facet, which may not be apparent according to the notes, but is definitely there for me. Then, lovely floral facets come into play and round off the entire scent profile.
Towards the end, a nice woody base comes through.

Do you like Reflection Man by Amouage? Do you want to spend less and even save a lot? Do you have no issues with Arabic brands? Then, in my opinion, you can buy this fragrance without hesitation.
I personally like it better than Shiyaaka Silver by Khadlaj.

On my skin, the scent lasts around seven hours.
The sillage is okay. Considering this price, it is truly perfect.
The fragrance is unisex wearable.
However, I tend to see the DNA as more suited for us men.

Wow, I am amazed by this fragrance, what an incredible presence it has!
Fresh, spicy with bright power, it pushes forward and maintains this performance on my skin for a good 7-8 hours!
I am truly absolutely thrilled!

Anyone who is a fan of Reflection Man will definitely find this one appealing; it will surely secure a spot on the podium of my top 10 fragrances so far.
