This one was a surprise for me. The concept and notes were fascinating, and the fragrance is unique, but it smells way fruitier and more floral than I expected. I detect almost no tea at all. There is a faint suggestion of butter, but not strong enough that it is clearly discernible. It also ages up the fragrance a bit, which makes it more tolerable to me as fruity-florals that trend young are often overwhelming and cloying. I often layer this with
Oolong Tea to punch up the supposed tea aspect of this fragrance and I think they smell excellent together, but as it stands, I don't think I'll buy a full bottle. Milky Dragon smells like a mature take on "jammy fruits with a hint of butter" and if that sounds good to you, I highly recommend checking it out. But if you are looking for milky tea, this will probably leave you a bit cold. It smells good and is quite wearable (I doubt many people would outright hate it), but the throughline between its concept and actual smell just isn't there.
