Slightly medicinal oud with green minty undertone

Limited Edition for Ecuacion Natural of only 18 pieces.
The name is very clear: medicinal oud in the opening and green part (balsamic mint in primis).
This oud (prachin), however, loses the "heavier" part after 1 hour, giving way to hints of balsamic anise.
Overall, however, it may still be a bit too hard for someone, despite the fact that there are no big "animalic" parts in the drydown.
Green Oud is quite interesting, but it has not surprised me all that much for the moment...

Somewhere along the way lies an inner Tibet

Your path begins over cheese-covered alpine meadows. A clarifying mist of mint-blue clouds. A long way on soft bark. Covered by the dew of bergamot. Floating in gossamer soap bubbles that settle on dark cedars. From bitter green pine forests, hoarfrost-laden shadows fall on plains full of jasmine trails. Herb-shimmering floral streaks on mulch-fluffy grounds. Drawn by white-flowering beings. And under colorful prayer flags, you believe you see Russian Adam. Crouching in deep meditation. A Tibetan incense stick.

Access to Alp Veliogulliaris' exclusive collaboration with the Spaniards from Ecuacion Natural is not entirely easy. The path into the fragrance initially presents a very animalistic, cheesy experience. You have to get through that. This head of Thai oud will soon be accompanied by cool-fresh mint, herb-green citrus notes (pine needles, myrtle, bergamot), and sage-like nuances (monk's pepper). It feels irritating. Only after a few minutes do the cheesy notes yield to the bark-mulchy oud aromas, citrus, mint, and myrtle nestle into a camphor-like bitterness and green-spicy pine wood, calming the fragrance down, as the citrus aromas seem to melt into tiny soap pearls on the soft bark, lightly animalistic jasmine flowers appear like streaks in the bark mulch, merging with it into a chord that reminds me of several floral-incense-like bases from Areej Le Dorée's fragrances, "Russian Musk II" comes to mind from a distance. The initially challenging, moderate path soon pays off for several hours.
