I dunno why the short review below says its a peach or passionfruit mix, I think he has the wrong cologne cause there is no peach or passionfruit lol.

The best way to describe this scent: the inside smell of an old ice cream shop, maybe like a carvel or baskins and robbins.

This starts off strong with a salty pistachio almost aquatic like (probably the grapefruit zest) that dries down into a nutty hazelnut. Almost smells waffle cone-ish. Longevity is insane, 8+ hours and I still get some whiffs from my skin.

The only downside is the price, ideally this shouldn't be more than $200-250 but it is what it is. Like I said, I don't even like gourmand scents but this one I decided to splurge as it is pretty unique.

8/10 - will be one of my favorite reaches during the fall/winter, but this could work in the summer evenings too.

If this review saves one person from my mistakes then it was all worth it. I saw multiple sources recommending this and now I have trust issues. You guys… the opening of this smells like the reddest of all red dyes, most artificial ass fruit punch. I like fruit punch sometimes because I am a child at heart but I was confused as to how or why I was smelling it in this perfume. It was a mixture of fruit punch (heavy on the cherry) and flintstone’s vitamin??? It’s so over sweet and so synthetic. After the synthetic assault the peony and florals come through a bit more and then it was giving pink bathroom soap. It’s just like lightly fruited and floral vanilla smelling but so sugary and thick. The dry down is a super sugary vanilla and tonka milky vibe with still maybe some sort of fruit like cherry. It smells like a $5 candle from a shitty department store. Every time I smelled myself throughout the evening I made a face and went “ugh”. Please save your money.

I can for sure see how this wouldn’t be everyone's cup of tea, but to me, it’s absolutely fantastic. I haven’t been able to find anything that is Pistachio, Gourmand, and Unisex or Masculine at all. People are like “Oh this is just a clone of Kayali Yum Pistachio” and while sure, they share some similarities, that one is very much so a feminine fragrance. I can see where people say it smells like a cookie candle or like a somewhat basic scent, but it is just so dang edible in my opinion. It is one of the few fragrances that makes me actually want to eat what the smell is. I would love to hear some alternative’s for men if there are any, but so far in my research this is the one if you want a masculine pistachio gourmand.

it starts off a very thick tonka and cream scent. It's an assault on the nose. like very chemically. very thick and syrupy. then it starts to mellow out a bit and the almond milk note starts to show but turns quite sour. to me it kinda smells like old mildewy towels. No bueno. after that chills out it kinda just is a very nondescript vanilla, syurpy base. i dont like to be the kinda person to use "synthetic" as a pejorative, but it is quite synthetic smelling, in that kinda sense.

Smooth, composed, and quietly confident. It opens with a soft, creamy woodiness that feels refined rather than sweet or heavy. There’s a subtle warmth running through it, but nothing loud or attention-seeking. The balance is what stands out most—everything feels intentional and well blended.

On my skin, this wears steadily and comfortably. Projection is moderate and controlled, creating a clean scent bubble rather than a trail. The drydown stays woody and slightly musky without turning creamy-sweet or powdery, which keeps it aligned with my preferences. It works especially well for daytime, professional settings, or anytime I want something polished and low effort.

Within my collection, Kingside sits in the “easy sophistication” lane. It’s not a statement fragrance and it’s not meant to be. Instead, it’s the kind of scent that consistently smells good, never offends, and quietly elevates how put together I feel. I reach for it when I want refinement without thinking about it.
