Dill!

The opening is straight dill. I was enveloped by pickles. I must have a weird nose because I haven't seen anyone else mention it. The dry down might've been nice; I could catch a whiff of some creamy, floral vanilla. Unfortunately, I just couldn't not smell dill. Even after I scrubbed it off, it wouldn't leave me alone. So if you like the scent, the longevity is probably amazing.

Cleopatra Rose-Milk Bath

Prodigy opens with a bright rose and bergamot in a veil of milky vanilla. The rose and spiciness from longoza pierces through more into the dry down, but the vanilla remains a dense cloud of sweetness that never really quite goes away, adding an unmistakable gourmand quality. There is also a powderiness that lingers in the background. I found Prodigy gender neutral, right up until the floral notes shifted to the forefront. Still a beautiful fragrance however, but one more suitable for a woman or if you’re seeking a vanillic rose. Easily one of Mind Games’ more attractive and better performing offerings. I imagine this is what Cleopatra’s rose-milk baths smelled like.

Taking a Fragrant Bath

Imagine coming home from a long walk or, if you prefer, a long jog.
It's already very cold outside.
You run a bath with rose-scented milk.
The coffee machine is running, and you quickly grab a milk coffee, toss your cold clothes on the floor, and step into the pleasantly warm tub.

For me, the scent starts off very strong with the rose milk, and the milk coffee quickly joins in.
Sandalwood and vanilla round it off.
I don't really smell the patchouli at all.
Definitely a successful fragrance from Mind Games.
