Sweet-earthy for a cozy feeling
My first comment ?
I’ll just give it a try...

I once had a sample of Angel EDP, which lay around at home unnoticed.
Until one day our boys discovered it.
They doused the little one with it. I almost fell over... What a terrible and overpowering scent.
Even after scrubbing, the smell wouldn’t go away and my son cried because he just smelled awful; when he went into another room, the scent cloud was already there before him!

At some point, someone sent me a sample of the Angel body lotion and I tried it!
It smelled completely different from the EDP.
Sweet, slightly earthy, warm, and cozy... Hmmmm, I was in love and the scent stuck in my mind!

Eventually, I browsed various online perfumeries and saw it, the light blue star with the pink liquid. I was fascinated by it and suddenly I had the smell of the body lotion back in my nose and hoped that I could get a fragrance that smelled like that.

I quickly ordered this beautiful bottle. When it arrived, I tested it cautiously, first on a test strip, as I still had my overpowering-smelling son in mind... ?
It passed, and I tested it on my wrist.
It reminded me of the body lotion and I was happy!

It starts fruity, which I attribute to the mandarin, but quickly becomes sweet! But not sickly sweet at all.
I, being a sweet tooth, really like the praline note!
The patchouli gives it a slightly earthy base, and it lingers for days on scarves and clothing. Sweet - slightly earthy, warm...
It also stays on my skin for at least 8 hours.
This EDT surpasses all the fragrances I’ve known so far in terms of longevity!

For me, it’s a sweet gourmand that fits wonderfully into the winter season, especially when it’s snowing and freezing cold!

Unfortunately, it will have to wait for summer, as I find it too strong and heavy for that.

(Be)Sinnlich.
Once upon a time, there were two angels, Ur-Engel and Eau Sucrée.
The Ur-Engel was the older of the two and everyone knew him.
Even here in the countryside, he was constantly seen with all sorts of women and girls.
They all wanted this sweet angel for themselves, but the Ur-Engel, despite his age, simply did not want to grow up or commit. So he let himself be used by every lady who wanted him, which did not do his reputation any favors.

His younger brother, on the other hand, Eau Sucrée ... I tell you,
the two could hardly have been more different, even though they looked almost identical.
He was more reserved and somewhat cooler, almost frosty. He was surrounded by a certain aura. Although he was indeed also sugary sweet, he never received the attention that his brother had, and probably didn’t even want it.
You would occasionally see him throughout the year in the city, often out alone and unapproachable.
Very few were interested in him; some thought, 'he's just like his brother,' while others had already fallen for the slightly pushy Ur-Engel and simply had no interest in him.

The father of the two was the head of the secret Mugler circle. He loved his sons equally but noticed that both had a hard time. So he decided to combine the best traits of both into a new angel and send him to Earth during the pre-Christmas season. He was to be the perfect angel, warm and cool at the same time, sweet and frosty, and a little bit pushy, but in a reserved way... and he succeeded.

About the scent itself:
A fragrance that unites many contrasts within itself. Sometimes you just have to bite into the sour apple to truly appreciate the sweet praline.
The scent starts off exactly like Angel Eau Sucrée. I smell frosty berries that somehow aren’t mentioned in the scent progression and this cool, sugary note. The whole thing then quickly becomes warm, and you perceive this chocolaty Angel, albeit with less patchouli and a bit more bittersweet praline. Overall, it is very harmonious and much cozier than Eau Sucrée, despite the strong similarity.
Even though I personally do not like the Ur-Engel, as he is too sweet and too strong for me, I love this soft Angel DNA paired with Eau Sucrée.

A great scent for the pre-Christmas season, even if some will surely shout in outrage to the world
'AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGH NOT ANOTHER ANGEL!!!!!!!!!!!'
Angels simply belong to Christmas.
Longevity for me is around 6 hours.
It becomes very close and extremely warm and sensual after about 3-4 hours.
I recommend testing it without expectations and without prejudice.

My Star in the Angel Sky
About 10 years ago, when I was slowly turning into a perfume junkie, I suffered a real Angel trauma...
I still remember, it was summer and we were on a class trip to Frankfurt - of course, us girls stormed the then turquoise giant and sprayed and tested wildly (embarrassing;-)).
A large blue bottle caught my eye; by its color, a fresh summer scent, and I immediately gave myself 2 generous sprays - I hope the people who sat next to me in the theater forgave me....

So much for the "original Angel," which I found terrible back then and which practically glued my nose shut.
For what felt like 10 days, I exuded this intrusive, sticky artificial smell that simply disgusted me.
There were never moments when I found it pleasant on someone else - if I ever noticed it somewhere, it was only on women I couldn't stand ;.)
Angel EdP and I are therefore at odds... even its various flankers have never knocked me off my feet.
With all due respect, but the woman who can stylishly wear Angel from 1992 still needs to be invented;-)
At least according to my nose.

Now, let's talk about the new EdT.
To everyone who has hated Angel so far - TEST IT!
At first very powerful and sweet, the scent develops into a warm cuddle perfume for cold days.
The DNA of its big sister is still present, but significantly weakened.
I once had a beautiful scented candle that this EdT reminds me of - it lulls you in, and is also clearly perceived by others, but the annoying component has disappeared.
At the beginning, there's a hint of cotton candy, but this quickly gives way to deeper notes.
It slightly reminds me of Wish, but is finer.

The longevity and sillage are, as with all other Mugler scents, fantastic...
Once sprayed on, you won't get rid of it quickly. For me, a big plus point.
The bottle is also a piece of jewelry.

Angel EdT may be a "castrated" version of the original - but for everyday use and the people around its wearer, it's definitely more pleasant.
Sometimes, less is indeed more.

1 Angel for me!
I have always been quite fascinated by the Mugler DNA but also always convinced that it doesn’t suit me. When I tested the Angel EdP, which I didn’t like at all, I decided to give up on Muglers (although I still wanted Alien).
Recently, I passed by the Mugler shelf at Müller and saw this star sparkling, looking different from what I remembered.
I examined it - EdT? Had I tested this before? Spray... Carefully, I sniffed the test strip... WOWWWWW! I was completely blown away... Although I appreciate the EdP as a vintage scent, I thought to myself: This is my Mugler... I have finally found it. At first, it is quite sweet, but the sweetness dissipates as it transitions into the beautifully fruity, praline heart note. The drydown is wonderfully woody-sweet and gives me the same vintage vibe as the EdP and has slight niche nuances due to the DNA. H+S+PL unbeatable. For me, it’s almost an all-rounder, but I think it unfolds best during transitional seasons. :)

Edit: On clothes or a scarf, the scent develops more oriental in the drydown than the notes would suggest. An unexpected twist that I really like :)

Edit 2: It belongs in the top 3 of fragrances with the most compliments from men! ;)

The Scent of Elsa:)))
You read that right! This bottle, as well as the scent, strongly reminds me of Frozen! :) If Elsa were to wear a fragrance, this would definitely be her scent!:))) I'm already a bit in love with the bottle itself since I love pink :D Yes, exactly! This is really the first fragrance by Thierry Mugler that I like! Both in terms of appearance and scent! It's not something special or very new, but still a lovely everyday or going-out fragrance! The other fragrances by Thierry Mugler were just too special or too much of a good thing for me! But this one is somehow very girly:))

I immediately smelled a sweet yet simultaneously sour apple note with a hint of mandarin notes upon spraying:))) The scent never becomes too sweet or strong! Only at the beginning is it a bit strong, but then it becomes softer, almost powdery. The woody notes were clearly detectable! They give the fragrance a certain warmth and a slight sweetness. Unfortunately, the praline note was not very prominent in this fragrance; it disappeared quite quickly in the scent development, which disappointed me a bit :(( I had hoped for more since I really like pralines in fragrances... Anyone who enjoys scents where an apple note is always strongly noticeable in the scent development will be happy with this fragrance, but I still hoped for more, especially because of the praline note... Nevertheless, I find that the fragrance is very successful and beautiful :) It would be lovely for spring since it doesn't disturb or overwhelm :) H+S is unfortunately not so good... I only smelled it for 3-4 hours... What I would like to emphasize is that this fragrance is much better and more beautiful than the previous Angel fragrances, which were too strong or too penetrating for me, while this one is like a nice little hug for the senses :)

A lighter, fresher take on the classic Still has patchouli + prallne but also juicy apple + orange, with woodiness to balance the sweetness

Hazier version of angel, still sweet and fruity slightly chocolate-y and still pack a punch the kind of EDT that will be with you all day

Instead of the trendy pear, we have apple with praline here. It has a fresh and airy vibe despite the velvety sweetness. An angel for me...!

Much more "Angel Eau Sucrée" :)
Has nothing to do with the original Angel!
*very patchouli-reduced*

The perfect blend of "Angel (Eau de Parfum)" and "Angel Eau Sucrée" - zesty, fruity-fresh, praline-like to die for. Little patch.

The first wearable Angel for me :) A bit more subtle, polite, and suitable for everyday use than the original.

At first, the citrus-apple note combined with praline is quite unusual. But once you get used to it, you become ADDICTED! The drydown = amazing!

Sparkling-fresh, not too sweet fruity notes blend with the typical Angel scent. Casual & light, sweet but not trivial.

I can't smell it after 2 hours - but others can
it's well-received compared to the big sister :-)
