Simply Wonderful!
I bought this fragrance blind. The price made it possible, and my love for Mugler perfumes led me to the most successful blind buy I’ve ever made. To my surprise, this EDT has incredible longevity, a strong sillage, it’s floral without being sweet, giving off freshness and an otherworldly essence that I cannot categorize. It’s ideal for any time of day or night. I’ve received the most compliments wearing it—from strangers, friends, and colleagues. Three of my friends bought it because they fell in love with it after smelling it on me, and even a colleague bought it for his wife. I’ve purchased it four times, and I’m keeping one box sealed with fear, thinking I may never find it again, not even online. It’s unique, and as much as I’ve searched, I haven’t found anything similar at the same price and with such longevity!

From Distant Worlds
My best friend claims that the alien scents suit me perfectly, as I am supposedly a being from distant galaxies, successfully running a colorful plush store there.
And now and then, I dash out of the cosmos to pamper the earthlings with cuddly bunnies, kitties, etc.

I like this idea - and I also like the alien scents.

Of course, I had to try the new mysterious smoky blue alien.

"Mysterious" is the keyword, as Mirage does not reveal itself to me right away.

This alien has landed here with the French Mirage jet, and a few drops of kerosene still cling to its subtly gray jumpsuit.
Strangely oily and somewhat harsh.

But then it sheds its work clothes - and appears in a shimmering garment made of full-blooming pipe shrub and exotic lotus.
Mild pepper emerges, and amber sweetly mingles in.
The Hinoki wood is another exotic component - because an alien can afford exoticism.

Nevertheless, this alien practices subtle restraint - it is probably on a secret mission.

Initially somewhat irritating, Mirage becomes increasingly beautiful on my skin.

Maybe I should offer it a home - after its long journey?

My friend thinks that the mysterious aspect suits me well.

Fata Morgana
Mirage the Fata Morgana - what does that mean for this fragrance ???? At first, fresh, but let’s not be deceived. This aquatic fresh little water is anything but watery, thin, and transparently light. Upon closer inspection, something sensual-woody-gourmand emerges. Very delicious, even though I’m not an Alien fan at all....
I was warned, the little water was slightly gray or blue or a bit black upon closer look. The Fata Morgana tricked me with its reflection. What did my eyes see? What did I perceive with this fragrance? It initially seemed a bit cool and showed me its ethereal face, then it captivated me with its flattering and gentle seductive allure. Something fine and noble surrounded me, and I was amazed by the longevity of an Eau de Toilette. 6, 7, 8 hours it was close to me and was also perceived by other subtle beings (whom we call humans).
It deviates from its Alien siblings. Pipe shrub and lotus, maybe that’s the secret, who knows. In any case, it will appear differently in the eyes of every observer.....
It has my recommendation!

First Peppery, Then Opulent Alien
Hello, you sniffing noses, and welcome to a new fragrance description. If anyone is confused because I had just described the scent Orgie by Mugler, well, that text was probably a bit too intense and had to be removed for now; it will be back after some revisions in a few days. But luckily, I have another scent in store, so you don't have to sit here dry. After all, I hadn't written anything here for a week, which is certainly an eternity for Don Juan de Cat standards, right? But my cat was injured, and I didn't want to stress him with scents. Now that he is feeling better, I can also test one or another fragrance at home.

I know most of you are not exactly Alien fans (incomprehensible as always, tsss...), but I will start with the latest flanker anyway. And stop complaining, as I said, my cat was sick, which made me sad, so I can surely start with a fragrance from a line I really like, and this one can also cheer you up :DD (yes, such excuses can be used well, right?)

So... the cat is sleeping, which is good since he is under house arrest until proper fur has grown back at his surgery site. Now I can test this fragrance here in peace, and let's see if it makes me want to bite ladies again :D
The last Alien flanker, Fusion from 2019, was one of the best Aliens I have ever tested (of course, most still don’t want it, you silly people!), so I hope this one is great too…!

Okay, let's go!

The Fragrance:
Hmm, I find that despite the new fragrance notes, this Alien also starts with the familiar Alien DNA, even if it might come across as slightly diluted at the very beginning, but it is still unmistakable. The pink pepper actually smells at first a bit like regular black pepper, which is quite unusual for an Alien, but it doesn't come off badly. This gives the fragrance a slight spicy note, but it fades quite quickly and then becomes noticeably sweeter.
Lotus is completely new and makes the fragrance creamier, or at least I perceive it as creamier because I had used the Body Cream Dao from Rituals very often, which also primarily has lotus as its scent. A jasmine-like sweetness is also present in this Alien, even though jasmine is not listed here; it’s just the typical Alien aura. In the background, the fragrance seems to be slightly woody, but that will surely be clearer in the base.
After a while, the pepper seems to return, which I actually find quite nice, as it brings a pleasant change to the Alien line.
Hmm... it is said that this fragrance is supposed to have mineral notes. I think that could be true, but I'm not entirely sure; maybe I only perceive mineral notes a bit because I read about it, so this information should be taken with caution. In any case, the fragrance later becomes characteristically opulent regarding floral-sweet scents.
In the base, the fragrance smells really wonderful. The slightly diluted scent from the beginning disappears, the fragrance becomes sweeter, and also slightly fruitier. Additionally, there are soft woods and a light amber note as the base. The Alien DNA does sink a bit in the base, but the fragrance remains very nice and pleasant, even slightly powdery. Super! Well,... until after several hours the later base kicks in, and that’s the point where I like the fragrance less. The reason is the now very opulent floral notes that smell like those exhausting fragrance notes like ylang-ylang or too intense tuberoses and such. For me personally, this is just too intense and no longer pleasant-smelling, but that is just my opinion on strongly floral fragrances; maybe you ladies like this more :)
And so it remains until the end.

The Sillage and Longevity:
The sillage is quite okay. The Mirage is not the strongest Alien, but still strong enough to be noticeable for a while by others. The longevity is almost always enormous, so the fragrance lasts twelve hours or more on the skin and can still be faintly smelled the next morning.

The Bottle:
The bottle is the familiar Alien bottle, which looks futuristic and I personally really like because it stands out not only visually from many bottles but also looks really good. This time it is light blue or pastel blue and appears a bit cooler than usual, but it is still nice to look at.

Conclusion:
So, even though the fragrance started slightly diluted at the beginning, I think it has developed well. The fragrance smells best in the initial base, even if it loses much of the original Alien DNA, but that is often a good thing so that the fragrance smells different enough compared to the original Aliens. The later base is even quite intense, as I described. But many who know me here know that I don't really like this kind of intense flowers, which ultimately led to my lower rating of the fragrance. You ladies might actually like it even more since it doesn’t smell like the usual Alien, and you usually prefer such fragrances (meaning opulent fragrance notes and so) more than I do.

I would therefore highly recommend testing it, but do have a little patience with the fragrance or test it several times if necessary; it might be that you end up liking it after all. Well, you probably only like the fragrance because I didn’t like it so much this time. If it smelled like a usual Alien, where I could then say how delicious and sexy you would smell with it, you wouldn’t even want to try the fragrance,... because,... I don’t know... because you ladies here are just silly,... yes, that must be it. That’s definitely the reason: You’re silly and love to torment me... tssss :D

In any case, the fragrance is best suited for going out or for the evening in general and should be worn on not too hot days, as the end of the fragrance could otherwise come across as quite overwhelming and stuffy.

Well, that’s it again. Have a lovely evening, everyone, and see you next time! :)

Alien Mirage = Aura Light...
The title already suggests it:
In my opinion, this flanker shows no resemblance to Alien (aside from the flankers I know). This is not a big deal, perhaps a bit confusing, as one is tempted to identify a scent relationship to Alien...
In fact, the opening of the new Alien flanker reminds me very much of AURA!
However, Mirage is more transparent than its green cousin. By that, I mean it is consistently less dense than Aura, which always envelops my skin immediately and lingers there...

The sillage of Mirage is of a completely different kind:
It is more like the scent floats around me... you can imagine the perception as if you were walking near the coast past a garden or a wild rose hedge and suddenly unconsciously lift your head because you think, "Aaaah, what smells so special...".
This image fits well because the scent seems to be carried by coastal air, as if the rough-spicy sea breeze is the foundation on which the ingredients are presented. The color of the bottle - this delicate smoky blue - also matches perfectly.

The first impression of the scent is thus an inseparable fabric of sea breeze, pipe shrub, and lotus.
After a few minutes, the pepper becomes noticeable and gives the fabric a mild-surprising, friendly-tickling twist. Here, Mirage becomes somewhat more floral overall - still completely transparent - and transforms over the following hours into a warm-woody scent that gently and tenderly accompanies me home after a long walk on the mudflats or coast.

The longevity is okay at 4-6 hours - after all, it is an EdT; and I am still quite surprised not to find any of the usual heavy hitters from Mugler here.
Alien Mirage is not lovely in the traditional sense, but it is a delicate scent with character that will likely be reached for again and again, especially in summer. In high temperatures, it is surely invigorating, energizing, and refreshing - and does so without lemon, bergamot, or similar notes.
In my view, the scent is clearly all-gender! Anyone who likes it can wear it.

So, as I said: Alien fans should definitely test before buying if they expect a relationship here...
Aura fans may easily like the scent (especially in summer) - I would call it "Aura L'air" or "Aura Marine" :).

"First born" Alien is too agressive for me, but this one is Heaven. So feminine, not so strong so I could wear it all year.

This alien is anything but subtle, but I actually like it this time. Heavy flowers with a salty edge. Watery-sweet, also fresh.

Crisp and cold, fragile and transparent like a freezing winter night.
And yet so lovely!
I really like this flanker.

Alien light! Less sweet, less strong, less loud, less floral, yet still Alien, and without the headache annoyance. Beautiful!

Initially watery-soapy, later creamy-soft. I smell almond, oddly. Original Alien DNA lingers gently in the background. Very successful.

In this dilution and paired with friendly, mild pipe shrub plus a hint of lotus, I can quite easily find the Alien DNA.
