I believe I have rarely experienced such a high concentration of fragrance oil as with Floris Rex. Holy moly! When sprayed, you can clearly see the "oil ring" at the spot where it was applied. Wow, just wow, and how 'shiny' that spot becomes :D
Well, now that the question of whether it is suitable for clothing has been clarified, let's move on to the scent progression of this solid Nebiru:
The
Floris Rex starts off green-spicy (almost tingling & herbal), but also woody-earthy. The sprayed area of skin is almost cooled by the scent, very pleasant, especially in late spring.
After the scent settles a bit and the skin has 'acclimatized' to it, a certain animalic note (musk + castoreum?) and even a slight sweetness emerge. If you've smelled musk mallow a few times, you'll recognize it here as well. I also assume that the rhododendron (also known as "rose tree") is already making its presence known, although I don't know what it smells like.
The animalic guest appearance was quite short, as after 30 minutes it recedes into the background to make way for a strong floral note with a bit more sweetness.
After 1 hour, Floris Rex has developed into a spicy-woody (Texas + Atlas cedar?) floral scent, where the (fossil) amber is definitely noticeable. About half an hour later, it takes on a woody-balsamic turn. Very interesting. I have the feeling that the oak moss and the spruce (could also have been a "fir") are saying "hello."
After 2.5 hours, the grand floral and blossom time is already over, and it increasingly becomes "fir-like"/"spruce-like" balsamic. A certain spiciness and especially resinous sweetness are also clearly recognizable.
After about 3 hours, the fir/spruce retreats. Now, his drydown DNA develops at the latest: balsamic-sweet-resinous with a very pleasant, but not boring woody note.
4 hours "in": This one very distinct spicy note comes through. I can't exactly describe what spice or wood it is, but you can really smell it most after 4 hours. The fir/spruce is disappearing more and more; less noticeable.
After 6.5 hours: This strong spicy note is still present alongside the earthy-balsamic sweetness. The drydown is really very pleasant and exciting because it subtly (changes) even hours after spraying. And one becomes aware: this thing will last for SEVERAL hours :-)
After 8.5 hours, this piercingly distinct spicy note has given up. In fact, the drydown is now, after over 8 hours, the most beautiful. Little green wood, really just a bit, with a good portion of sweet balsamic and the distinct Amra spice. It's still somewhat resinous... wow, the drydown is truly anything but boring :D

Conclusion:
A sparkling green-spicy Nebiru that really shines in the drydown and transforms. The sillage is not too loud, but also not quiet. The performance is insane - it lasted easily 12-14 hours on me. Due to the very dark juice with a high oil content, you really have to pay attention to where you spray.
I've had good experiences spraying on skin areas that are well-perfused and warmer.
Great Nebiru with high recognizability!
