I think I have rarely experienced such a high concentration of fragrance oils as with Floris Rex. Old dad! When you spray it on, you can see the "oil edge" exactly where you sprayed it. Wow, just wow and how 'shiny' the area becomes :D
Well, now that the question of whether it is suitable for clothing has been answered, let's move on to the scent of this solid Nebirus:
The
Floris Rex starts off green-spicy (almost sparkling & herbaceous), but also woody-earthy. The sprayed-on skin area is literally cooled by the fragrance, very pleasant, especially in late spring After the scent has settled a little and the skin has 'acclimatized' to the fragrance, a certain animalic quality (musk + castoreum?) and even a slight sweetness emerge. If you've smelled nutmeg sage a few times before, you'll recognize it here too. I also assume that the rhododendron (also called "rose tree") is already recognizable, but I don't know what it smells like.
The animalic guest appearance was quite brief, because after 30 minutes it fades into the background again to make way for a strong floral scent with a little more sweetness.
After 1 hour, Floris Rex has developed into a spicy-woody (Texas + Atlas cedar?) floral fragrance in which you can definitely smell the (fossil) amber. About half an hour later, it takes a woody-balsamic turn. Very interesting. I have the feeling that the oak moss and the spruce (could have been a "fir tree") are saying "hello".
After 2.5 hours, the great flower and blossom time is already over and it becomes increasingly "fir-like"/"ficht-like" balsamic. A certain spiciness and above all resin sweetness are also clearly recognizable.
After around 3 hours, the fir/spruce withdraws. Now, at the latest, its drydown DNA develops: balsamic-sweet-resinous with a very pleasant, but not boring woody note.
4h "in": This 1, very distinctive spicy note comes through. I can't describe exactly what kind of spice or wood it is, but after 4 hours you can actually smell it. The fir/spruce disappears more and more; less perceptible.
After 6.5 hours: This strong spicy note is still present alongside the earthy-balsamic sweetness. The drydown is really very pleasant and exciting because it changes slightly even hours after spraying it on. And you also realize one thing: this thing will last for SOME hours :-)
After 8.5 hours, this pungent, distinctive spicy note has given up. In fact, the DD is at its best now, after more than 8 hours. Little green wood, really only a little, with a good portion of sweet balsamic and the distinctive Amra spice. It's still somehow resinous too ... hei the drydown is really anything but boring :D

Conclusion:
A sparkling green-spicy nebiru that really comes into its own in the drydown and transforms. The sillage is not too loud, but not quiet either. The performance is sick - it easily lasted 12-14 hours on me. Due to the very dark juice with a high oil content, you really have to pay attention to where you spray it.
I've had good experiences with spraying on areas of skin that have good circulation and are/are getting warmer.
Great Nebiru with high recognition value!
