Summer in a bottle
I had wanted to try Minya Coco Lush for a while, but as is often the case, there are always fragrances that are perhaps a little more interesting or appealing. Thanks to the lovely "Sarajk" who gave me a bottle, I was finally able to test the fragrance.
Immediately after spraying it on, the fragrance puts me in a vacation mood. I immediately think of a beach with palm trees, the sea rustling, a light breeze blowing, feeling the warm sun on my skin and relaxing in a deckchair with a cocktail in my hand.
But let's get to the fragrance itself.
Minya Coco Lush starts very tropical and exotic with a very intense coconut note.
It reminds me of coconut water, which smells fresh and slightly milky and creamy.
This is joined by crisp, ripe pears and fresh, juicy, slightly tart raspberries.
The base is more floral. Delicately fragrant freesia and beguilingly sweet jasmine combine with the fruits to create a great floral-fruity mix.
The fragrance remains quite linear, with coconut milk playing the main role throughout the fragrance. It is always present and clearly perceptible the whole time.
The longevity is very good at 12 hours +. On clothes, I can still perceive the fragrance relatively intensely even the next day.
Price/performance is absolutely top, as Minya Coco Lush is sometimes available for less than 20 euros.
Even though the fragrance is marketed as unisex, I would rather see it on a woman because the floral sweetness could be too feminine for some men.
All in all, Minya Coco Lush is a very nice tropical, albeit slightly synthetic summer fragrance that I will happily wear on not-so-hot days.
