Taskeen Caramel Cascade Paris Corner 2024

I bought this almost a year ago and was not impressed. It was an assault to the senses so it went back in the box and under the bed. Took it out a few weeks ago and it's a different scent altogether! It's caramel and vanilla with a hint of an almost balsamic note to cut through the sweetness. It's honestly beautiful and I will be wearing it all winter. It is however a massive downside that it had to be given almost a year to become wearable and this DNA is so popular now that I wouldn't really recommend it as you can get scents that are beautiful straight away and don't require as must time to mature!

the opening is a little bit worried the first 10 minutes I do get a burnet rubber plastic.
But after that disappears, I’m left with a lovely milky caramel, soft and sweet. It is the same kind of dna as Bianco latte.
but I am Surprised that there is no Liquorice in the notes, very noticeable liquorice candy blended with caramel.
It’s needs more time to let this perfume macerate.

The opening is somewhat harsh, with caramel notes that feel synthetic, almost slightly rubbery or plastic-like. Once this initial facet fades, which happens fairly quickly, the composition becomes smoother, revealing a more distinctly caramel-centered, sweet gourmand character with a touch of vanilla.

Longevity and sillage are both strong.

The scent actually sounded very good. My fragrance notes are also quite appealing. But to me, the fragrance smells like a latex balloon. Even after drying, it doesn't get any better. Just extremely synthetic. The longevity is okay. About 5-6 hours. But when I smell it, I want to get rid of it quickly.

I got this fragrance for my birthday two years ago. I loved it and people always commented on it. Now, instead of milky caramel, all I smell is a disgusting mix of alcohol and mushrooms. I store my fragrances in the dark and at a constant temperature, so that can’t be the reason. It’s going in the bin, what a shame
