21 is my favorite number. There's not only #torino21 but also a number of other fragrances with this number in their name, which I don't want to list and have to test, but which make me curious. Thanks to a generous sample, I was able to take a closer look at this creation, because it actually took me several attempts to get something out of "21".
The very first time I sprayed it on my skin and paper, I also noticed a rather unpleasant synthetic note, which is reported here in the statements. Accordingly, I delayed my test, but kept "playing" with the fragrance. After all, the pyramid makes no secret of the fact that the aldehydes and ISO-E-Super are not purely natural ingredients.
When I spray the EdP into the air, a wonderful woody-ambery, warm fragrance with depth emerges, which reminds me in places of the old
Jil Sander Man (1989) Eau de Toilette - mind you. There is also a restrained fruity note in the background that is reminiscent of red berries, possibly raspberries. I then dared to test it on my skin again later and lo and behold, "21" develops just as beautifully as it does in the air - provided it is dosed sparingly.
However, I don't detect any aquatic notes and I'm not entirely sure about the white lily either, but this is probably due to the powdery to gossamer vanilla nuance. On the other hand, you notice the intensifying effect of ISO-E-Super, which not only makes "21" a little fluffier, but also more projection-intensive.
Accordingly, I think that you have to give the fragrance a second or third chance so that it can relativize its first synthetic impression, otherwise I would also have been very irritated by "21". That's just the way it is with some creations that use ISO-E-Super - they can sometimes be wrong, difficult or impossible to grasp.
I could write now that you have to test it until it is good, but I can imagine that there are also perfumos who generally don't get along with "21" due to its synthetic structure.
What else is striking: currently 90% of users are female, but when it comes to classification, the fragrance is rated 35% female and 29% male, so it is quite balanced.
Ergo: quite an attractive fragrance that could appeal to many, but is not necessarily obvious the first time you smell it.
