Woody-Powdery Cherry Lipstick
The scents from Valjues are special, not all of them are to my taste, and the bottles with their modern, naturally minimalist design are a matter of preference. Somehow, the brand has something, and the appearance of a whole series with numbers in the same look and different fragrance categories recently piqued my curiosity at the airport, prompting me to sniff through them.

I already knew 12 | Twelve - I had previously smelled a sample from it that had initially convinced me. A really very nice clean scent with beautiful musk, which unfortunately becomes a bit too sharp and prickly in my nose over time, causing headaches. Still, it is a high-quality and special, molecular scent.

Okay, back to the airport. So, before the flight, I happily sprayed a few different Valjues on the test strip, but since I already own so many gourmands that I really like, I was somehow in the mood for something different. And then came No. 7! This one really surprised me completely. I have tested a lot in my fragrance career by now, but I must admit that I have never smelled a scent that smells like this. I already found it super beautiful and pleasant on the test strip... a bit powdery, slightly fruity, bright, creamy, a little smoky, and somehow just interesting. We were already sitting at the gate when I decided to go back and spray the scent on myself. The whole time on the plane, I had to sniff my wrist and thought at that moment that I would probably always think back to the vacation whenever I smell this fragrance, as it is somehow so memorable. I was totally happy that I managed to get a bottle of the scent at the souk, and I was already looking forward to coming home during the vacation to wear it.

Back home, the scent develops a clean warmth on me, the powderiness fades, and the woodiness then comes forward very softly in combination with a subtle cherry note. However, I would never describe the scent as a cherry scent. I don’t find the cherry to be that authentic, and the other notes distract from it. For me, it is not fruity at all, but really a soft and sensual scent, as it is also described. I actually think that the scent works well as a signature for work, as it has a somewhat polished cleanliness to it, yet this slightly smoky component is there, making it somehow niche and subtly sexy. This sweet-smoky note has bothered me at work on some days, especially in the dry down. On other days, however, I find the scent so incredibly wonderful that I could melt away. I think it has something incredibly attractive and something totally special. It is an elegant scent, and I see it more on modern, casually fashionable people who like it "clean".
Three sprays are absolutely sufficient for the whole day. However, you should definitely test it beforehand. This is not a blind buy candidate! :-)

The slightly different cherry... rosy and creamy.
Today, Pafory Post is in the mailbox:
7 | Seven... maybe another cherry in my collection?

The first test surprises me, as based on the fragrance notes, I somehow expected a very fruity, fresh cherry.
In fact, the scent starts for me more with a floral cherry, which I can perceive, but very subtly. Other notes, especially rose, pepper, and tobacco, which makes its appearance in the top notes, push the cherry into the background.

Right from the start, Seven has something animalistic for me. At first, I suspect (not listed) oud, but it’s probably the tobacco note, as it reminds me of "Sunshine Woman | Amouage." This type of tobacco note feels somewhat musty to me.

Aside from that, the scent becomes clean and creamy over time. However, it’s not a clean scent, but rather a soapy cleanliness, like a bubble bath with an opulent bath foam and many silky rose petals.
Cashmere and powdery notes support this intimate, well-groomed cleanliness and make the scent feel softer and also more feminine.

Once the bothersome tobacco note has disappeared for me, I can now imagine the scent on my skin. In the further development of the fragrance, 7 | Seven remains pleasantly rosy, soapy, and creamy with a very subtle cherry.
My conclusion: Seven is not a typical cherry scent and is not comparable to "Duchessa | Gritti," "Perpetual | Moresque," or "Lost Cherry (Eau de Parfum) | Tom Ford." We are not dealing with a gourmand, marzipan-like, tipsy, fruity cherry, but rather with a subtle, rosy, clean, creamy cherry.

The scent has good longevity and a fairly strong sillage if you spray (too) much.

I will definitely continue to test the scent, but I am not (yet) in love.

P.S.: While decanting for vacation, the scent fell into my hands again after months. It’s midsummer...
Conclusion: The musty note, somewhere between an 80s toilet block and a damp cigar, simply lingers for far too long... This one is going to the souk soon!

10. Pafory Day: The Noble, Creamy Cherry
Another Cherry, very noble in its presence but always somewhat in the background. Not sweet or dominant, but it masterfully controls the fragrance in a beautiful way, coming across as creamy, warm, and woody, with a hint of spiciness. This is a truly pleasing cherry scent and a good example that cherry doesn’t always have to overwhelm to be noticed.

Finally Found My Cherry
That I am crazy about Valjues, some have already noticed… That I get to be involved in the production at Valjues, some have also noticed…
But the reason for this is becoming clear: No matter what Valjues releases, everything is presented under the seductive Valjues sexiness, and this reaches almost absolute perfection with a cherry.

The 7 | Seven starts off cherry-like and powdery. The cherry is very authentic as a cherry and contains, at least to my nose, little cherry liqueur, if alcoholic, at most leaning towards cherry brandy.
Immediately behind it comes a seductive powderiness that I already know from 2 | Two and makes the whole thing very sexy.

From here, it develops less in other directions and remains very true to the cherry for hours.

My husband asked right away, when he took out the trash, what I was wearing, the whole hallway smelled of it, and he could even smell me in the parking lot. He was visibly impressed by the sillage of the fragrance and found it pure sexiness :)

This cherry is, at least to my nose, rather feminine. The musk here is bright and leathery, giving us a very elegant animalic note. The fragrance has nothing vintage about it, and its powderiness is very modernly executed.

For anyone looking for a cherry that is not lost but comes in beast mode and lasts for days on clothing, I can only recommend this magnificent creation.

I would definitely recommend testing it beforehand; the 7 | Seven is again a typical Valjues, and these fragrances are in a class of their own.

It is really cherry but different…

For me, it was love at first sight, and finally, I have a cherry fragrance in my collection… And it has a lot to offer.

And how about you? Have you found your cherry yet?
Thank you for reading my review and warm regards

Initially loved the woody, dark cherry, but sadly the drydown is just not it for me. Smells like perfume from the 90s.

This bright cherry lipstick goes perfectly with her freshly powdered
cashmere scarf
In her wooden stilettos, she's a bit wobbly.

After the first sniff, it was clear - an amazing cherry, with a hint of wickedness from the tobacco. Very sexy scent.

I think it's pretty good! Lightly smoky-woody cherry that still smells bright, polished, and clean. Special, but definitely something.

PaforyAdvK: Cherry without the heavy marzipan. Floral, powdery, and subtly fruity sweet. Very fluffy. Pepper only at the back. A very lovely scent.

Gives me cosmetic vibes with cherry. Exciting with tobacco. Pleasant and not too much in winter. I'll test it in spring/summer. Today it's a yes!

Finally a cherry that isn't sticky sweet. I like it much better than the most famous "Lost" and its endless dupes.
