A dream for her, too feminine for me
I tested Carioca Heart out of curiosity - the note list sounded like a vacation: mango, pineapple, lemon, a little rum, creamy base. Thought it might be a fruity, tropical vibe with depth. But wow ... right from the first spray, really sweet, really juicy, really feminine.
The pineapple-mango combination hits you immediately, with a creamy undertone, a little floral, and then vanilla comes in later. The sweetness lingers for a long time, and at some point it just gets too sticky for me. Even the rum, which could have been exciting, gets a little lost in the fruit and vanilla cocktail. Unfortunately nothing for me, too playful, too fruity, and too bundled.
But on my girlfriend? Absolutely next level. The fragrance develops beautifully on her skin, becomes softer, rounder, but remains radiant. And ey, she loves it. Says herself: "This is 100% me in summer." I believe her. And every time she wears it, I still turn around, even though I couldn't wear it myself.
Kind of like a tropical dessert cocktail, fun, loud, sweet, fruity. Too feminine for me, but on the right person? Really strong. My girlfriend adopted it immediately, but I prefer to stick to my Freshies.

Great dessert but I just can't make it :D
I tested Zaya because it's being hailed everywhere as a "gourmand bomb". And yes, the start is amazing: honey, apple, cognac - all at once, sweet, fruity, boozy. Smells directly like a liquid dessert after a sumptuous meal.
Then comes this tonka-cinnamon combo with date and amber - warm, spicy, intense. Later, praline and vanilla are layered over everything, really creamy, really sweet. And the sweetness lingers. For hours.
The longevity is brutal. 8+ hours minimum, strong sillage - you leave behind a cloud of fragrance, no question. So if you want to stand out, you get premium gourmand with an announcement here.
But to be honest: it's just too much for me personally. I love gourmands, but Zaya goes in the "sugar with wood underneath" direction. In the long run, it's just too heavy, too sweet, too "I'm a dessert". Maybe okay at 5 degrees in the depths of winter, but even then it would almost be too much for me.
If you love sweet, opulent and eye-catching...go for it. The quality is there. But for me it was like an overly rich dessert: tastes good, but I can't finish it, too much

I want to like him, but he won't let me
I bought Naxos back then because everyone raved about it. YouTube, Parfumo, Insta - everyone was like: "Honey, tobacco, lavender, masterpiece." I was curious. Sprayed it on... and yes, it smells high-quality, sweet, spicy, creamy - but something immediately put the brakes on me.
It's loud. Really loud. And somehow too oriental for my taste. This combination of honey, tobacco and lavender is nice, but it quickly becomes too heavy on my skin. It's so sweet that it's almost oppressive.
And what really annoys me: I smell it on other people all the time. Club, bar, sometimes even in the gym (why?). I thought Xerjoff was rather niche, but Naxos feels like it's everywhere. And the more I smell it, the less it appeals to me.
Durability and projection are great, no question. If you want to stand out, it works. But I personally put it to one side at some point. It's too much for me, too present, too "I'm here!" - and that's just not always me.
Not a bad fragrance in itself. On the contrary, it's well made. But for me? Overhyped, overused, and simply too oriental. I can see why many people love it, but I need something calmer.

Love at second sight
I was honestly disappointed the first time I sprayed it. I just thought: "Huh?" ....What is that?
I was so deep into the world of freshies, I was expecting something bright and clear-cut.
It was a real blind buy this time because I'd heard so many good things and I've absolutely loved every LV fragrance so far. And yes, it was also the first time I briefly felt like I'd made a mistake with a €300 bottle.
But then, on the skin, with a little time, the fragrance transformed.
Slowly, almost shyly. And suddenly it was there: warm, clean, intimate. This fine mix of floral notes, musk, a little creaminess, a hint of body warmth. Unagitated, but deep.
Lovers is not loud, not bold. It doesn't draw attention - it just stays. And that's exactly what makes it special.
It is a fragrance that seeks closeness, not impact.
Very unique, very emotional, almost calming. Like the smell after a day for two. A little bit her, a little bit you. And that's exactly where its appeal lies: it doesn't smell like "perfume", it smells of connection.
Lovers is not a fragrance for everyone. But if it suits you, then it's the right one
I recommend getting a sample first because it's really unique, try it slowly and get feedback. I also spray it from a great distance or walk through the cloud.... makes it an irresistible skinscent and is not intrusive
Quiet, sensual, genuine. Love at second sniff....

Turns every budget vacation into a luxury trip ;)
For me, Afternoon Swim is the epitome of a summer vacation, no matter how or where: tangy lemon, juicy mandarin and orange - clear, direct, high-quality. The fragrance remains linear, but that's exactly what makes it so refreshing and uncomplicated. No gimmicks, just pure citrus with style.
It wears perfectly in the heat, lasts a solid 5-6 hours for a fresh fragrance and has a good presence at the beginning before it becomes skin-deep. Ideal for anyone looking for a clean, modern freshie.
Strongly reminiscent of: Afternoon Splash by Alexandria Fragrances....very similar in structure and drydown
Afternoon Swim is not a fragrance for attention - but one for a good mood, lightness and sunshine on the skin. Luxurious, minimalist, simply good. Off to the sea :)))
