Istanbul EdP
We have a wonderful minimalist bottle with an interesting sprayer.
At first, one notices the fresh and slightly floral scent with an intriguing oriental undertone that adds a certain pep to the whole. This comes from the saffron and cloves, but also a bit of cinnamon. The top note has a relatively strong sillage that diminishes over time. Especially the Turkish heat is responsible for the short-lived sillage and top note. But this is not the end of the story: from the top note, a mix of heart and base notes forms.
It is clearly detectable, but does not project too far anymore. It is more noticeable during hugs and other close contact.
The orchid, woods, spices, and musk create a wonderfully pleasant oriental scent that is not too overpowering and remains memorable due to its interesting composition.
As the hours pass on the Turkish streets, the scent becomes less varied: it forms in my nose into a lovely combination of cinnamon and vanilla.
Overall, it can be sensed throughout the day, albeit only lightly, and is enjoyable at every stage.
For me, it is definitely worth recommending, especially at this price.

Oud save the christmas
During my last purchase ("Sapphire Collection - London | Widian / AJ Arabia")
the friendly salesperson handed me a sample pack from Atkinsons.
Now, my girlfriend and I have traveled to a holiday home in Wendland just before Christmas. A beautiful old building amidst frozen meadows and forests.
The entire landscape is white, and inside, the crackling fireplace is burning. And today, I had the chance to apply "Oud Save The King (Eau de Parfum) | Atkinsons." It accompanies me all day long, very present but, in my opinion, not too intrusive. It fits perfectly into this cozy Christmas picture. The similarity to "Sapphire Collection - London | Widian / AJ Arabia" is there, but they are really still quite far apart. The woody sweet scent lingers in my nose even outside at -8 degrees and warms me.
It has a certain warming effect and is somehow gourmand to me.
No iris like you would find in
L'Homme (rather none at all)
and no strong leather like in "Tuscan Leather (Eau de Parfum) | Tom Ford."
The top note almost resembles "Wūlóng Chá (Extrait de Parfum) | Nishane," but of course, has nothing to do with it.
I simply smell the sweet, very soft oud and a tiny leather nuance.
Overall, I like it very much, and it fits perfectly into the Christmas spirit.

As the name suggests
Myrrh and Tonka. And that's how it smells: It starts off slightly fresh with a clearly detectable lavender note, but already with myrrh and tonka bean. The lavender fades relatively quickly, and in my nose, only the two main components remain. The tonka bean is one of my favorite fragrance notes, so beautifully warm, sweet, and gourmand. And that's how it is in this scent. 100% pleasant and more suited for colder days. The myrrh adds a slightly cold beige scent for me. It is, for me, a complementary scent to the tonka bean. Not warm-sweet but cold. This combination perfectly balances the fragrance.
And... it smells powdery. Somehow like a fragrant powder cloud in the air. However, I can't quite place that. That's just how it feels.
If it weren't unisex, I would classify it as a women's fragrance. However, I also like this feminine note on myself as a man, so anyone can wear it if they like it. The longevity is good, just like the sillage. You can smell it distinctly for a few hours but not too strong. So completely sufficient. The price is definitely a number in my opinion. Yes, it's niche, but around 200€/100ml when buying 50ml is quite hefty for a fragrance that is rather simple. It doesn't quite compare to similarly expensive fragrances like Naxos. But actually, no one does...
So: If you have the money, then it's well invested, and it will surely bring about one or two compliments.

Perfection in a bottle
What can I say. Naxos is and will always be the best unisex fragrance of all time, and it deserves it all too much.
I have never experienced such incredible perfection in a perfume.
We have a beautiful bottle that is truly one of a kind.
High-quality and beautiful. It feels heavy in the hand and looks elegant. There is nothing to complain about the sprayer or the packaging either.
The top note starts off slightly citrusy with a background of flowers and honey-tobacco.
I can immediately smell all the components.
In my opinion, the fun really begins after the top note, which lasts about 10-30 minutes. The scent becomes softer and simpler, which I really like.
I smell sweet honey with noble tobacco and a tonka bean underpinned by a sweet but not overpowering gourmand vanilla note.
Sweet but still not too feminine due to the tobacco.
One could inhale the scent. It feels very gourmand and will probably please everyone since it is not particularly edgy.
So, anyone who wants to make a good impression should definitely try this fragrance.
You can strongly smell the quality, which definitely justifies the price.
For me, it is simply a masterpiece as it clearly contains all my favorite notes (tobacco, tonka bean, vanilla, cinnamon, and honey). They form the base and harmonize incredibly well together.
And this lasts for an undisputed amount of time.
It probably never comes out of clothes without washing.
(it has already lasted a week in my sweater that I wore once)
And on the skin, it retains its room-filling sillage for at least 24 hours, if not longer. (I couldn't test that since I shower daily)
But even after showering, it is still easy to smell.
As mentioned, just 2 sprays can fill entire rooms without being overpowering.
It sits pleasantly and lightly in the nose. You could compare it to baking cakes: it smells good throughout the house and does not disturb anyone; instead, everyone enjoys it.
Conclusion:
Liquid perfection and for everyone.
Better in winter but also wearable in summer. In summer, it develops a light coconut note.
It will appeal to the majority of people and is 100% worth the price.

Christmas Market and Pipe Tobacco
As soon as Kilian touches the skin, a Christmas explosion hits the nose.
I smell cinnamon rolls, candied apple, mulled wine, hazelnut praline, and a bit of caramel. Very gourmand and truly interesting, but also very extreme and slightly overpowering if too much is applied.
After a half-hour visit to the Christmas market, one finds themselves in the warm living room next to the crackling firewood. You notice less of the smoke, but more of the warm wood and a lot of tobacco. A rather sweet, pleasant tobacco underlaid with vanilla and cinnamon.
Due to its sweetness, it is definitely a unisex fragrance.
The tobacco, vanilla, and cinnamon combination lingers on the skin for hours and is clearly but pleasantly noticeable to those around.
Overall, a fantastic scent, especially for the Christmas season, with more than sufficient sillage.
