Contrary to all hate
After watching this fragrance being torn apart on Parfumo for a long time, I got hold of a sample of Oud 31 in the souk.
When I first applied the fragrance, it was a bit overwhelming.
After extensive testing, however, it remains to be said:
At the beginning, the fragrance opens relatively spicy-oriental. This can be overwhelming for some at first, but at no point is it "cheesy" as some people describe it here. I can't detect any animalism either.
However, this top note wears off after around 20 minutes. After that, a wonderful, cuddly blend of rose oud opens. It smells like a very high-quality, spicy, oriental, somewhat sweet rose butter. This is meant in the most positive sense. It lasts a very long time and radiates beautifully. I think it's great to wear on special occasions as well as in everyday life. I can't understand all these negative reviews. The only thing you can argue about is the price. In terms of value for money, there are certainly other fragrances that perform better here. But all in all, it really is a very, very beautiful and cuddly fragrance that is special but at the same time very wearable.
I will be buying a bottle soon!

Oriental luxury and elegance
In short, the fragrance is the epitome of niche, luxury and the Orient.
At the beginning you immediately recognize the oud, which goes in a slightly animalistic direction, which might also be a little off-putting for many. You can also smell a fruit cocktail and a little floral. However, this is lost in comparison to the spicy and oriental accords.
Gradually, the fragrance develops into a complex blend of the above-mentioned ingredients. It is hard to put into words how mature, complex and deep this fragrance is.
For people who are not so into the non-fragrance world, the fragrance could seem overwhelming.
However, I think the fragrance is pure top class and should be tested.
The price is of course absolutely insane, but if you want Champions League, you have to pay Champions League :D
H/S are top anyway, as is typical for Nabeel even with the "cheaper" fragrances.

Beautiful fragrance
Beautiful all-rounder, can be worn in both colder and warmer seasons.

The fragrance starts out sparkling, gradually honey and vanilla join in, making it increasingly rounded. However, the light, sweet citrus is not lost. I think it suits spring best.
Longevity and sillage are good, but the beastmode that many people talk about is missing for me.

I have a bottling from Los Angeles from a few years ago, which in my opinion is stronger than a newer version. But that could also be because it has "matured".

All in all, a very nice fragrance that must be tested at least once.

Better every time
I first heard about the fragrance from Marc Gebauer. As a result, I immediately ordered a bottling here on Parfumo.
The first time I sprayed it on, I thought to myself "hmm quite nice". A little date and cinnamon, spicy, sweet, seductive. So all in all a very solid fragrance.

I've worn it more and more in the meantime. And each time I wear it, I find it somehow more special and rounded than the last.

The bottle is a 10/10, I would recommend it in winter and fall. Sillage is okay, but nothing more. In this respect, you could also wear it in spring when it is still relatively cool. Longevity is good. All in all, a very successful fragrance, and if you don't have one of the series yet, then you should start with this one.

Great all-rounder
I bought the Uden at the souk without any great expectations.
Shortly after spraying it on my wrist, I was immediately smitten. In my opinion, it starts slightly citrusy, but doesn't have that toilet citrus and is rounded off with a certain creaminess, making it a very good companion for warm days. All in all, a very beautifully balanced fragrance. Longevity is very good for me, sillage in the upper mid-range. One of my new favorites for the office.
