Classy deliciousness

This is an outstanding perfume in all aspects of judgement! The ideal show-stopping gourmand is made possible by the harmonious marriage of the notes of caramel, citrus, coffee, and vanilla. It smells like you're attending a lavish event where a caramel macchiato is being served in a room that is being diffused with citrus oils and laced with a soft powderiness from the flowery notes that is noticeable but not overpowering. It is like a warm embrace of goodness. D&G The Only One is quite long lasting with above average projection and longevity. I personally reach for this scent during the colder months, cooler nights or like a date night. Overall, it is a splendid gourmand that should have a place in the collection of someone who enjoys warm and decadent scents!

Elegance on a budget

I bought this scent after reading online that it was a dupe for Oriana by Parfums de Marly and Killian Love Don’t be shy. I compared the scent profiles of both Oriana and Ansaam Gold, and there wasn’t so much similarity, but when I sprayed both, I could barely tell the difference until the dry down. On initial spray, it smells like sweet florals from the candy, raspberry, and jasmine. Because of the blend of the middle and base notes, it smells like there is a marshmallow accord. Ansaam Gold's dry down is not as sweet as Oriana's. I wore it yesterday, layered with Al Rehab soft roll on perfume oil, and the performance was far above average. I got a whiff of the scent at the end of the day, but keep in mind that I am not a light sprayer. Overall, it smells very similar to Oriana but costs a fraction of the price, so if you're looking for a more affordable alternative, this is it!

Sugared Incense...

It has a sweet, woodsy scent that is also infused with incense, giving it a smoky or burning quality. It is not for everyone in that if you dislike oud and woody notes, you might not find it appealing. As the scent dries down, the sandalwood and musky vanilla in the base of this fragrance create a creaminess that is really enticing.

A sophisticated ginger and saffron signature

This fragrance would definitely announce your presence because it is so lush and bright thanks to the citrus notes, but still deep thanks to the amber note. The citrus and saffron scents, to my nose, linger on my skin for at least 8 hours and on my clothes for weeks! They fall into the same category, though I wouldn't say it is a dupe for the MFK B540.

This perfume most certainly lives up to its name. It is undoubtedly a compliment-getter and performs admirably in terms of durability, sillage, and projection. I'd just suggest avoiding using it on days when you feel lightheaded because it will only make you feel very foggy and may make your headache worse if it lasts for a while.

Not your 'Regular' Gourmand
When sprayed, it has a soft, citrusy opening that is sweet but still reviving. The Rum flavor causes it to become more boozy, but the pistachio nut flavor remains. It absorbs into the skin and leaves behind a pillowy, fluffy, and creamy scent. Even though the projection is only moderate and the scent quickly dissipates to resemble skin after three hours, it could project more and have more sillage with more layering of similar-scented products.
